I got a feeling,JVG just ask yao to defence the jump shot,as for BOARDS, the rest of our guys will hustle for the boards,

    You've got a point there.

TBH, I enjoyed watching the team more (in *some* ways) during Steve's rookie year and 2nd year. Then, his flaws didn't bother me much at all. He was a kid, he'd learn, and he had all the time in the world to do it. He was helluva fun and exciting. Houston had played boring-ball for years... and here we had a player who skipped up the floor and did alley oops (as a pg!). It was fun.

Now, the "fun" stuff seems almost annoying - too playground like... while his flaws are no longer things that will "get fixed."

Then there's a game like this - and it's exactly what you always wanted to see, and you like watching it more than anything since the glory years.

    ...one confused fan here.

The defenses can't just use the point guard to cheat and roam into the paint area with Steve shooting jumpers. This is by far the best game for Steve considering the breadth of the shots he took and the importance of the game. The guy was able to hit jumpers and go to the rack.

All the score boards stop working. How is Utah doing?

Yao has been on a tear on the offensive end since the ASG. The boards is a concern but he goes out of the paint to defend outside jumpers way too often. Is this the game plan. or is Yao too much a team player, or is he just plain stupid?

I hope Mo will be well for the next game. We need him.

The last two rox vs laker games will surely give Yao some respect from Refs.

Well, he shot a boneheaded long jumper in the 4th quarter (the first one was ok, but a consecutive one after the miss...hmmm...) and turned the ball over twice close to the end ...

Just hope he doesn't get over-confident and turns into another ballhog.

Maybe I'm worrying too much, but playing a team game IS one of his biggest strengths...

    WTH,

    a win is a win

    Go Rockets! :D

what the hell is wrong with espn? Just saw the sportscenter on espn2. They showed:
    1. Yao making a jump shot over KG. Comment: KG didn't get into foul trouble --- he didn't play defense aggressively. (I think they were trying to say Yao make the shot just because KG didn't defend)
    2. You missing a hookshot and KG got the rebound. Nothing special to see. WTF?
    3. KG making a couple of shots.
    4. SF3 alley-oop.
    5. AG missing the last FT.
    6. KG missing the last shot.

If it weren't for the scoreboard, I'd thought Minny blew Rox out. Also, no wonder SF likes to do the alley-oop thing (either set it up or finish it) --- it is the only way to get on espn. All other good plays just don't matter.

Yao is 26 of 26 from the line. Shaq must be shameful.

Unfortunately the Jazz are leading in the fourth quarter by 1 point with 5:54 to go.

He is our best shooter, he SHOULD shoot that shot.

As for the turnovers? One of them was a horrible pass by Mobley..below Yao's belt.....and it got credited to Yao....should have been a Mobley TO.

Francis still had 5 turnovers, but as long as he shoots a good percentage you can overlook that.

Jazz really surprised me. How can they go so far? Supposely they only can win 20 games this season.

    They play smart team basketball.

If the Rockets played like that, they would be battling for the number 1 seed.

CM5's pass to Yao was a great idea but that pass was too low. He needs to practice these kinds of passes with Yao more often. If he could hit Yao with that pass, it would be 2 easy points.

Yep...when most of the players on the team are playing well, I guess a few errors could be allowed...

Francis' first half of professional life is too smooth. he got whatever he wanted. he will never learn or grow up from that. We have this old say in China that when God want to make you good, he will make you suffer first .... throw all the (&*&$!@ on your .... and after you overcomed all the !$@#&, you will be great.

We are witness the greatness in making on Francis. Now he's really hit hard first time in his professional life (the migraine thing is nothing), he will overcome all of that and come out great! Trust him and trust ancient Chinese wisdom. :)
