I'm not saying JHo is not an important to the team becuase he really is. Im just saying the Rox performance level shouldn't drop so significantly just because he is out of the lineup.

For example: The Spurs were very competitive on the road vs the defending champs with Duncan basically out the whole game.

Now, all teams know we are perimeter team, and they use all sources avaible to shut down our 3's, while our gurds sudenly forget how to defend.

Let's see how many 3's the have made. 7/12. it's unbelievable.

Seems like whenever the Rockets lost a piece of their puzzle they turn into a little boy that misses their mommy. Their play gets all depressed and it makes me wanna cry. :(

Spurs played wonderfully even with both Duncan and Parker out.

They did not put too much effort on our perimeter shoot. Many of ours shots are wide open ones. It's just our people suddenly forget how to make them.

I don't want to piss off anyone, but may be a losing streak (including Miami's) is what it will take to pull our guys back to earth.

We are just lucky Memphis lost tonight. But I guess we are getting what we asked for now: 6th seed (alhtough I am sticking to my initial prediction a few months back that Memphis will probably get the 6th seed. They just got Gasol back, and considering the injuries they have had it speaks volumes of how solid a team they are).

But again, and it becomes more clear by the game, the Rockets are simply DESPERATE for a solid, young Power Forward.

yeah ..you know its not your night when you allow their PG to drive the length of the court in 6 seconds for a score with absolutely no resistence

our D can really be bottom of the barrel at times

Only 8 assists after 3 quarters, that's rare.

33% from the floor, 67% from the FT line is not gonna cut it.

Missed 12 freebies already in the first 3 quarters.

I know T-Mac is 3/14 from the field, but I am not sure it is a good thing that he stopped shooting completely, since we are going to lose this game ANYWAYS, I want him to keep shooting the f*ing ball to get out of that slump he is in. Feeding Yao the ball now and getting a point here and there won't bring us back this game, if we come back it will be through knocking down a series of 3 pointers, because the lead is simply too big.

I believe that's a concern. If losing a certain player will discrupt our team chemisty thus leading to crappy plays than I am really worried about our chemistry. It's too easy to be broken down!
It took us half of season to play decently and then we lost Sura and we went on a 3 game losing streak after the 8 win streak. Now JHo is hurt and we lost some more games.
But I do think the main problem is we have no depth at the 1 and 4 spot when we lose key guys (when sura's out, who's our PG?) then now JHo is out, we don't have any PF. May be this is a good way to show the management to really do something at the 4 spot during off season (they have done magnificent job building up the 1 spot).

true, but their dialogue is such a departure from what's going on. there are more interesting in game tidbits than those being discussed.
