I don't understand why Adelman doesn't run pick and rolls occasionally. He ran them in Sacramento. Yao would be nasty with some of those plays.

can he when he can't beat fronting defenses? i mean if yao knows for sure he can, i'm sure he'll tell his teammates to give him the damn ball.

but irregardless, i like how hte team is attacking right now. yao touching or not touching the ball isn't important. we don't live and die by the guy.

i think we saw a lot of positives.

if teams front yao, IMMEDIATELY do what we did in the first. swing it to scola in the post or at the mid-range, or swing it to artest, or let aaron brooks attack.

could be because Yao has issues catching the ball in mid jog in traffic. He's not able to stop on a dime and move laterally if he has to. It would only work if he's got a wide open lane to the hoop, and even then he'd have trouble finishing if someone challeneged him because he's not athletic enough to go around them and doesn't jump high enough to just dunk on them (like amare would).

You're arguing with the wrong guy, I agree with you. This team is very balanced, we don't need to pound the ball into Yao every time down the floor.

You're kidding right? We died in Chicago because Yao didn't get enough touches in the 4th. We don't live or die by TSlack but the Rockets are something like 23-2 when Yao scores 20 or more points.

Try refreshing it again. It happened to me a few minutes ago too, but refreshing worked.

Scottie Pippen has 6 rings, an MVP trophy (All-Star) and is one of the Top 5 SFs of all time.

    What's YOUR point?

My point is Yao wouldn't care about scoring 6 points/game the rest of the reason if the Rockets win. He'll still give maximum effort and rebound and play defense to the best of his ability. As long as it's what is best for the team, he won't say a peep.

    Shaq wouldn't. Tmac hasn't.

That's my point. We're talking about character here, not jewelry.

we died b/c we tried to force into yao but can't get him the ball, but then lose all the shot clock and then forced to jack up jumpers.
