Yao is horrible slow. Fortunately TMac made the shots.

But if think about Wolves had beaten Suns, Warriors, and almost beat Celtics on the road, this win is very encouraging. Portland's Playoff is sneaking away.

    Great win last night.

i was happy for the good guys.

Someone mentioned it awhile back but out schedule at the beginning of the season was probably the toughest in the entire NBA.

Our schedule is much easier from here on out.

    I am with you.
Since T-mac or Yao can lead the team by themself, why we not let them lead for individual Q? RA can mix them up, each one can be the clutch. T-mac has been great for the offense recently, but imagine if he plays a dedicated defense, would he still be that clutch? Yao plays "bad" partly due to his more concetration on defense, like Battier. I never blame on Battier since this team needs more defense from him, not the offense.
My point is: T-mac and Yao can co-exist for this Rox team. This is all up to RA. Really, I would like to see these ugly games, with "poor" performance from Yao, "lazy" defense from T-mac, but pull out a win in the Clutch!

I watched the game today, because I had important exams to prepare and homework last night (I worked till 2 am) and living in France, the game started at 2 in the morning.
Yet, I didn't know anything about the score so it was as if I had watched it live.

A good game to watch, certainly the Rockets did not play at their best, but they didn't have to. Yao was really struggling as the last 2 games but I wasn't surprised, he is tired, Al Jefferson just took him to school though. Also, Sebastian "Bassy" Telfair played great against Rafer. But whatever, the Rockets won so there's absolutely no problem about it :)

You could see the confidence and the improvement of the Wolves, they are not a good team yet, but they're not the same team we had played a month ago.

But what really stood out was T-Mac's performance, he did not play his best, but he made the plays, he was the difference maker, AGAIN. In crunch time he hit HUGE shots, and tough ones too. That last 3 was just SWEET, he buried the T-Wolves.
His 3-point shooting has improved, that's just great. And he feels good, I would say he is 97%, he's trying his best and I like it.
He had 7 turnovers, sometimes careless with the ball, but he WON the game for us.
One played I really appreciated was when he lost the ball and then blocked Randy Foye who had a wide open layup on the fast-break, that just shows that he is putting the effort.
8-1 since his return, just shows that his presence is important.

Now 4 BIG games at home, big because we are not as confident as home than on the road, which is pretty unusual for a NBA team. I believe we'll get 4 wins, in close games probably, but the Rockets are solid down the stretch, at least in the last wins, with always a player stepping up (Yao against GS, Landry in Indiana, T-Mac in Milwaukee and against the Wolves).

The game against the Cavs will be fantastic, I really hope T-Mac will take LeBron to school as we have seen many times in the past, just to show he's still one of the best in business. I hope that the TNT crew will stop complaining and show some love. Aahhh this will be fun, can't wait :D

it's amazing how people think Yao is MIA in this game...well, he only took about 11 or so shots, and so did most of everyone else. it's funny how everyone thinks Tmac is the best player on this team? let's talk about the TOs that he had? people always bash Yao for the TOs, so b**** about T-mac's TO.

notice when T-mac is out, there is a better balance between everyone that plays, a balance in scoring, shooting and movement. Yeah, we won some games and lost some, but when T-mac is playing, he shoots twice as much than anyone on the team and yeah we won the game, but it's obvious that the team operate better without him. It's not like this is a great team with him. This isn't about Yao or Tmac, but the whole team.

I have just one thing to ask you, did you watch the game ?

I have no problem with Yao having a bad game, as long as the Rockets win. And last night, T-Mac WON the game for us, he made the plays.

For the rest read my analysis I posted just before.

I was really unhappy at the time when T-Mac took the shot, but after watching the replays I guess it was a smart move. I am still a little worried that T-Mac is settling for jumpers and threes a bit more than he is driving, but he showed more driving ability in the game. At the end, I thought he should have taken it to the whole, but oh well, he made the shot...

since you put it that way, let's trade yao, RA, shane, etc., so T-mac take us pass the first round and win the whole thing.
