I saw the game and i think Brooks just had an off night. All of his 3-pter attempt was wide open.

    what you said means nothing.

last year ,when t-mac and yao all were in ,rockets was the best ,t-mac in ,yao out ,rockets better ,yao in ,t-mac out ,rockets the worst. but it isnt enough to demonstrate t-mac's ability of leading a team ,it only refected rocket's depth in the paint, because when yao was injured ,mutomubo and howard standed out holding up rocket's paint ,yao's effect on the team is still obvious '+'.when yao in ,t-mac out ,rockets' perimeter players cant play t-mac's role ,so ,rockets sucks ,but it dont mean yao sucks ,or yao cant lead a team.

but this year ,the story is different ,Rockza, you dont be conscious of the ponderance deeply, although 'BEST' 'BETTER' 'WORST' dont change ,you may discover that when t-mac is back ,there is more stagnancy in rockets' offence and more lazy in defence ,it means t-mac's effect on the team is '+',but this '+' isnt obvious,of course ,i dont specially indicate the game with wolves ,although in this game ,t-mac's offence was excellent ,he had saved rockets ,his offence and rockets still have question .

A nice win for the rox indeed. Nice to see T-Mac step up and deliver those dagger shots. Yao on the other hand had an ok game, couldn't play D on Jefferson but rox still won regardless. GG.

Yao is jinxed by the POM, it takes 3 games to recover.

I don't disagree, but like someone pointed out, there is a way to say this without having to diss TMac like that. Especially since you are a well respected member. TMac has done a lot for us, he turned us into a 50 game winning team his first year. Again last year, even when Yao missed 30 games. I personally like Yao as you might know from the other site, but after coming here and seeing all the hate for TMac, it is getting very irritating.

The fact that the NCAA line is 19.9 feet compared to the NBA's 23.9 makes a big difference. His shot looks pushed, like he's trying too hard to get the ball there. Those extra 3 feet require a lot more strenght. Give him a offseason he'll be fine.

lol.. I am not TOF, but I do admit I am a YOFs hater. And yes I am asian and Yao is my favorite player on the Rockets team. I first joined another website for Yao (Pruyen knows which one) and now this website for the Rockets.

I think you picked the wrong guy. I am not a YOF. I'm for the Rockets wins more than anything. Thus my opinion is far more objective than a bona fide TOF. ;)

There is not much point to argue with someone who can't even see the facts straight.

hmm I can, only "facts" in your statement was the salary difference. Everything else was heresay and assumptions. Facts are 20-10 without Yao last year.

I'm not sure if you're implying that the 20-10 record was due solely to tmac. If you are, you cant give tmac all the credit.

If memory serves, Deke was stellar while filling in for yao.

we should have a sticky thread "Excuses of Yao" to eliminate many repeating posts.

    "just an off night"
    "playing hurt",
    "no play called for him"
    "iso-ed"
"opponent is strong, fast, can shoot ...."
"should have defended their slow scrub"
    "TMAC..."
    "nervous"
    "referee...."
    "Adelman's highpost"
    ...........

YOFs are really trying to save their God.

You are here again? Your memory is not serving you right, Deke was steller for his age. He was by no means replacing Yao's numbers. But again just like the previous post, you just proved my point, TMac is more important to the team than Yao, especially if Yao can be filled in by Deke!
