Stop being so sensitive as someone pointed out. Stop hating on TMac just because he played great and Yao didn't. It happens, feel lucky that TMac is in Yao's team because we are winning and so there is less pressure on Yao. We ARE getting stronger if you didn't realize. We won 13 of last 15 and 8 consecutive road games. How is that no improving??!

Why are you assuming that we will fail again in the playoffs?? TMac has played great in all the playoffs he played in Rockets uniform. Sure we didn't go through but it has always been to game 7 against very very good teams. Now, with Yao having improved imo (his mins, rebounds and better hands) and better role players who are not offensive liabilities like Bowen against Dallas and Hayes against Jazz! why can't we move past the first round??? You think if we force feed the ball to Yao we can get past the first round??

I personally saw more TMac attacks tonight lol if you read most of my posts are defending TMac and showing the hypocrisy of YOFs by pointing Yao's flaws. I don't blame Yao, its just funny how people still attack TMac after he won us the game... hah pathetic.

Ok let me put it this way, we really don't have many TOFs here. Majority of the fans falls in two groups, we have YOFs and Rockets fans. Now rockets fans would criticize TMac or Yao if either of them sucked. I think they are emotional fans but fair (criticize both). Then we have YOFs who would always attack TMac regardless of what he does and defend Yao no matter how much he sucks.

Tonight, these are the two groups you are seeing. I personally am just YOFs haters because I like both Yao and TMac.

Why some man here speak out of thin air.
Amare has a poor game when confronted with yao, and I do think Amare is the second Martin in Nuggets without Nash.
As another said, Yao seldom defence Bosh directly as well as harringdong and Jefferson, from your logic, i can say that Chris paul can also outmumber Yao in his way.

He defended Al almost throughout the game tonight.. not that it matters because we win. My complaint is not how much Al scored tonight because great offensive players are hard to stop, but my only complaint is how many rebounds Yao got. No excuse for that.

    DAMN!

TMac haters and Yao haters. TMac lovers and Yao lovers. It's sickening.

The problem is that their games don't mesh. The Kobe-Shaq thing isn't working here. And with Adelman as coach, it kinda sucks to watch the team bog down and nearly lose to three suckwad teams.

Is it any one player's fault? No. But is it a coincidence that Yao has played like garbage since Tmac came back? No. Again, is it the fault of one player or another? No.

Will we trade either player before the deadline? No. If one is dealt during the summer, who will it be? I don't say it because I prefer Yao to Tmac, but the question should be rhetorical, given the makeup of this team.

Maybe putting Hayes on Jefferson might have made for an easier win but I get the feeling Adelman's thinking more long term. Yao and Scola needs to be out there trying to figure out how to play the Al Jeffersons and Carlos Boozers. If they don't learn now, the Rockets won't go far in the postseason.

i'm glad yao doesn't blame his teammates, esp. his fellow star for his struggles. so tracy has been playing with yao for 4 years. how come tmac didn't stop him from emerging into one of the best players in the league?

how about just saying yao is struggling? yao missed a lot of easy shots the last few games, got stripped a lot... things that can easily be fixed. he scored 16 pts tonight. if the wolves played the singe coverage defense we played on al jefferson, yao would have gone off.

hmm we are 14-2 in the last 16 games. I would consider that meshing. Yao and TMac has played perfectly fine and their record speaks for itself. I am sure it is some ridiculous winning percentage. Only problem has been the playoffs, but remember we played two great teams and both went to game 7. This with basically playing 4 vs 5 against elite teams (Ryan Bowen and Chuck Hayes). This year we are better, if we still don't get past round 1 with healthy superstars and a good supporting cast, then yes, its time to move on and split the two.

The wolves are not that crappy themselves, they've been beating the Suns twice, the Warriors and the Celtics recently. Don't just take every win for granted.

I cant agree with you anymore, today Yao is poor is rebouding, in fact rebounds has been yaos shortcoming for a long time. with a height of 2.26, he should get 15 each game.
On the other hand, we can find that other teammates have some rebouds, my point is Yao is not good at getting rebouds from teammate, he is not aggressitve,i have saw the reply, may he needs to be more bloody.

Yeah if they really have to split up the Yao - McGrady combo, of course it will be Yao Ming, as IMHO, no NBA general managers will be that stupid to spend U$20M for an injury-prone, broken back, damaged good.

Sigh TMac to me is the best passer to Yao in this team. I don't know what you are talking about. Ok Yao has won some games for us sure, but whats our record without TMac. Now whats our record without Yao? This year when TMac was out, we have a 8-5 record (correct me if I am wrong) and without beating a lot of good teams. I wouldn't even call that good record, sure Yao's numbers were higher, but is that your criteria for success?

Now we are 14-2, won 8 consecutive road games and you think we are doing bad because Yao didn't score a lot last few games?? Finally, why are you assuming we won't be able to beat good teams? We have been beating good teams last few years whenever Yao and TMac has been healthy, just not in the playoffs. Even then we came awfully close basically playing 4 v 5 on offense (Bowen and Hayes). So stop assuming the same result when a lot of things has changed since last year.

talk about the ultimate YOFs lol.. Pruyen why are you here? This is Rockets site and not Yao fan site. Don't disrespect someone who has put Rockets on his back plenty of times, including last year when Yao went out with injury, 20-10 record without Yao!!! What did your Yao do when TMac gets hurt??? NOTHING! WE HAVE HORRIBLE RECORD WITHOUT TMAC! Even this year it is not that great.

Stop your vicious dissing on TMac just because you like Yao. Thats ridiculous, go back to the site where you came from.
