Hehe, I will bet you anything that Yao will get owned by many more to come... Due to his physical limitations.

By the same token, he will dominate many as well.

Perhaps his performance in January once again raised everyone's expectations to a Godly height?

We did win in the end, so why trouble yourself with unnecessary thoughts? :)

but it's the outside-in that allows yao to get the ball fairly easily.

Jefferson can hit that 15 footer consistently. Yao's like a robot. Too much Van Gundy? Giving up 15 foot J is better than a lay-in? But when Al's that hot, Yao gotta take away that J, let him prove he can drive without being stripped. Also dont jump, you are freaking 7'6, just close-in on him with two hand straight up just like how Tmac did in one play. Yao's owened tonight.

But we will live for another day. We've been living on a thin line for awhile now. Not sure we are going up or cracking.

The Wolves did a pretty good defensive job on Yao and the Rockets didn't do a good job getting the ball to Yao in the post. That and Yao wasn't really being offensively aggressive.

Also, Jefferson's a difficult defensive assignment for Yao. I thought maybe Hayes would start to match up defensively against Jefferson. Surprised Adelman went with Yao but I guess he didn't feel Scola was up to the task, or he didn't want Yao to be guarding Doleac out on the perimeter? Kind of reminds me of the Utah Jazz dilemma from last playoffs.

All things considered, Yao didn't do a bad job against Jefferson. And repeatedly defending the athletic PFs/Centers of the league is the only way Yao is going to get better.

tmac has sacrificed a lot more than you think. outside of the last 4 shots in the 4th where he took it b/c we needed him to since it's his time to close the game, most of the shots were in the offense. and they had to go to him b/c yao was fronted and doubled and we couldn't get him the ball.

it's just that without tracy, even if yao is fronted, we try to get him the ball even if we have to waste time. now with tracy back, if we don't get yao the ball on teh first try, we move on to the next option. that's why our offense has been flowing so well lately.

This made me laugh. YOFs need to take a chill pill. He had a bad game. He's in a funk. He'll snap out of it soon enough. Truth is he got molested by Al Jefferson tonight, ain't nothing you can do about that. At least the Rockets won.

yao only fans are upset. tmac only fans are hating...

all on the night the rockets get a win.

i say trade them both for players who don't have "player only fans"

    Holy *****!!!!

New Jersey is at 20-27 and is holding on the 8th seed with a 2 game cushion and the Rockets are 28-20 and is barely making the 8th seed. Crazy....

Al Jefferson is a weak player ?he got 25 double-double ,NO.1 in this league!Laundry played great,i like him very much !but he didnt play against Al Jefferson.6/10 vs yao's 6/11,landry was great , yao's offence today was common ,i can say it ?but yao's defence was terrible ,Al Jefferson was on fire ,he just hit the JSs,yao never lose him open !t-mac's offence today was excellent ,but i must point out that his defence today was terrible too ,worse than yao !he always lose Jaric ,Jaric is a elite player ?

isn't that the very reason why we have 2 stars?

infact, we could use another star on this team but i dont think i could handle a trifecta of payer only fans on the bbs.

Everybody should root for Portland to win tonight. That team doesnt scare me a bit to make a push in the 2nd half of the season. Of all teams, Denver will be competing against us for that spot in the palyoff.

Scola to me is concentrated more on his moves than making the shot. He can easily average 16-18 pts per game by settling down and focus more on making his shots.

lol i still have faith in this team challenging for home court or possible a 5-6 seed. we'll make the playoffs.

hopefully we'll use this 3 day rest to fix some simple unforced errors (turnovers, boxing out defensively, and try to get yao to different spots where he can just catch and shoot).

we have a HUGE ceiling that we can climb. most teams right now (outside of the lakers w/ gasol) can't improve that much more.

Same story here after every game.
TOFs, TOHs, YOFs, YOHs, whatever..., are fighting each other all the way to the hell.
