[assuming that you have already downloaded the file and have a file with a avi extension]

those are xvid files......go google for the xvid codec and install it.

then make sure you are using a decent video player(no RealPlayer or Quicktime)

    BS Player
    VLC Player
    Winamp

all are much better solutions to view regular video files...and especially so any of mine...(these torrents, highlights I post)

edit: Ill have a highlight clip up in a few hours...I didnt even start editing the game till this morning....

You first have to open them using a bit torrent program.

    Try
    www.bittornado.com
    www.bitcomet.com
    azureus.sourceforge.net
thoses are P2P programs so you can download the actual files from other people.

Uh, what the hell is your problem? NIKEstrad is one of the best and most respected posters and always presents his points in a logical manner. I shudder to think what the rest of your 60 something posts are if this post I quoted is the "norm" for you.

Great win by the Rockets - unfortunately, I fell asleep before it was over.:(

But this team has me interested in following them as a diehard again and that is something I honestly could not have said last season.

BTW - I don't think there is a team that I despise more than the Timberwolves. Garnett is okay and I do like Sammy but Sprewell is the biggest punk ever with a stupidass hairdo. Troy Hudson looks like he is trying to be Spree's little brother. Olowakandi is a thug, plain and simple. Then there is pretty boy Wally Szceraopghoptror who thinks he is 10 times better than he really is. If he ever joins the Rockets, I will root for someone else. And then I think most people here know how I feel about the colossal loser, Eddie Griffin.

God, I was so glad to see that we beat these asshats!

TMac's three in Spewell's face and Yao's one handed rebound/dunk were just sick. I don't ever remember seeing so much energy and ball movement in a Houston team since the Olajuwon era.

KG is becoming the T-mac on the Magic team last year.
He would seek a trade soon.

i doubt it. unless they win only 20 games next year like tmac did last year.

the pups have assets they can move to get better. spree's endign contract will most likely be traded in a few weeks, sam might be moved as well. they are still looking for takers for wally and kandy. they can turn over thier whole roster before the deadline.

however, i would rather them fall apart and KG move to the east (not the knicks). that would make the west a little easier and the east a little better.

I am not a JVG fan or a JVG hater. But anyone want to give JVG some props for some of his COACHING moves last night? He brough Deke in and saw that he wasnt covering his man (Griffin) because of where Griffin was stationed so be brought in Spoon because he is more mobile. Additionally Spoon did a good job on Garnett. Sure Spoon is MUCH shorter than Garnett, but you know what? many of the times Garnett tried to score over Spoon he actually missed. Spoon might be short but he is a box down there and puts a lot of weight on his opponent, just enough to make them miss.

I thought bringing Bowen in late for Yao was another good move. Gave us another QUICK defender to defend the 3pt line.

I also thought JVG putting Yao on Hassell was a good move. Minny was trying to expose us with their "small" lineup and JVG put Yao on the most offensively challeged guy on the court in Hassell. JVG smartly didnt put Yao on Garnett even though Garnett was playing C at the time.

JVG also used Wesley on Cassell instead of Sura because of the quickness factor.

It's all Yao's fault that we went to the OT. ;)

    Wow, that was clever....

Anyways, gutsy win over a T-pup team that really wanted this game and knew they needed this win, especially over us...for playoff implications.

I emphasize that I fully agree and understand why TMac is the first option on this team. He is option 1 and until Yao stops becoming a foul magnet, stops losing the ball in traffic, and stops bending over in apparent fatigueness after each play (really, that's not good body language being sent to the coaches)...then Yao won't likely be 1a anytime soon during crunch time. But then again, Yao is a good FT shooter, he should at least be out there. But then again , he's a foul magnet. :(

I just wonder if we can win these type of games on a regular basis with TMac having to score 40 pts to give us a chance to win. I know he only scored 17 pts (?) against the 76ers which was an easy win for us, but how many games are we gonna have like that? Our games are going to be more like the T-pups, where each possession is crucial. One of these days TMac won't be on...it reminds me of the Jordan problem early in his years, with unproven players around him...Scottie Quitten still was a pup, the other players Jordan didn't think much of. At least TMac has trust in his teammates to hit shots at this stage of his career.

Come to think of it, it's good that TMac is the clear option 1 in this dynamic duo version. Dynamic duos don't work well if there is a question of who is numero uno...Shaq was really option 1 but Kobe thought otherwise, but in Jordan and Quitten, there wasn't a question at all and Scottie knew it. Granted, both of those duos won rings.

They showed a clip of JVG talking about Yao is trying to do what no other player of his size has done before. To be a complete player. So they showed other 7'3 and taller players (Manute Bol, Bradley, Eaton, Muresan) in the history of the league and their PPG. They did comment on how he doesn't seem to have any stamina problems as he played practically the whole second half and OT. I didn't hear alot of compliments though, which is funny considering when he is on Nation TV and is having a subpar game, they constantly downgrade him.

I like JVG's quote about Yao and how expectation leaped out of control and that an 18/9 player at his stage was very good.

Man, Spoon did a great job IMO! I thought he played KG perfectly and gave him a ton of problems.

If you did not here 'lot of compliments' that is probablly because you did not pay attentio.

the broadcasting duo was unsually (grant one of them is walton, but it's the other one who is even more generous) complimentary about yao.

The only thing that matters in that we won so I can't really complain. But I thought JVG should have put Padgett on Wally instead of Spoon.

Also, Yao on Hassell wasn't really a great move in my mind. Hassell was actually the only guy keeping the Wolves in the game. But Spoon did a good job on Garnett so I guess we really didn't have a choice.

Also, not sure if this is how JVG drew it up. But I was pissed off to see our last 2 possessions in the 4th (both Sura iso shots).

But like I said, we WON so everything is okay. This is a huge win for us, a real confidence builder for the team. What's with the wolves though, they aren't playing with any confidence out there.
