I am so glad Yao is showing more consistency. Today he showed agressiveness on the offensive boards. I loved when he rebounded with one hand, and followedd with a one hand slammm:D

    Juwan and Spoon did good.
Yao did good..Mutombo did an icej ob.
Tmac very nice 40 points I don't know why Sprewell fouled him...but doesn't matter.
Strickland did a very nice job. He's 38 years old and he still manages to do a lot of stuff..he's pretty fast and he can still jump with some hangtime..good passes..he's like #7 or 9 or 10 all time in assists..like Mark Jackson #2.
Padgett didn't make as many shots but he's still a good all around player.
Sura did a pretty nice job.
Wesley did really good..I thought he did a lot on offense..and on defense played tenaciously despite his height disadvantage.
    Barry did good filling in.

    Good win very good game

Great win! :D This team is really on a roll...yes, it was only the slumping T-wolves, but they were out to win tonight and we still pulled out a tough win.

LOL. I think thats the secret to a great championship dynasty.

The last great team, the Bulls had guys like Will Purdue, Wennington, Paxson, Jeff Buechler, Steve Kerr. yes yes thats the secret, regular teams win championships, teams with white guys create dynasties.

JVG took out Yao because he's deadly tired. He could barely walk after 2 minutes in overtime. A good move.

I thought he took Yao out because Yao is foul prone and JVG didn't want someone driving to the lane and getting the cheap foul.

Yao is still getting some absolutely lousy calls. I sometimes think he is snakebitten when there is contact and the whistle is blown, he automatically gets the foul. And when he gets mugged, no whistle. Dang, I'm sounding like a YOF.

It was tense but I'm glad we closed it out when we needed too. A good team effort. The Wolves are struggling but they are formidable opponents. Yao bounced back nicely in the second half which was nice to see. This win should be a good morale booster.

I enjoyed this game and continue to be amazed at how Juwan Howard steps it up. Those offensive rebounds were HUGE.

You can't say enough about T-Mac

    :) :) :)

No way MoT would get those offensive rebounds.

No reflection on you f4p ... I'm just responding to this point in general: This is one of the big reasons I had such a problem with the "Francis was our heart - we made a huge mistake!" point that many tried to make. If that heart aspect can be replaced by Bob Sura and Jon Barry, how important was that "heart" that Francis brought?

And to pass over a talent like McGrady because Stevie is animated and picks up some T's? Mind-boggling.

I know we are simply results-driven, and those results didn't come ... and I must admit that McGrady was not playing lights out to start the season, and it did miff me some when he was talking about how charged up he was going to be for this season .... but talent-wise, this trade was so no-brainer.

Younger star, smarter star, much, much, much better star. We made out like bandits.

If he stops taking shots in crunch time, especially his weak post up moves, I'll give him some more props. But now, I give JVG props for making Juwan...less Juwan like.

    props JVG!
