You could say the same about Harden when he has an off game offensively.

Well, then, your eye test must be different from Mchale's. Maybe there is a conspiracy going on. Is Mchale being blackmail by Les? Could be.

No, he was part of a unit that was clicking well, so he left him in.

If the game got close, Harden was going back in.

Harden was having an all-around bad game period. Granted his defensive flaws were not so obvious tonight, but our offensive flow died every time Harden had the ball. Now I like his aggressiveness, what I don't like is Harden holding the ball until there is 5 second on the shot clock, then forcing the situation to make something happen.

Lol. Man, let it go. Just about any NBA player can have duds in any particular game. Enjoy the winning streak, and the look of a CONTENDER!

Rockets didn't completely dominate throughout, but definitely one of our better games of the season. Defense held stout and offense exploded late to win big. Harden only played 32 minutes, Parsons 30. Great game!

So you are implying that Lin was controlling the pacing of the game while being a good facilitator. How is that playing like crap?

Ok, now for something other than the needless Lin drama:
Parsons had a pretty good game offensively, but did anyone notice he was making Shved look like an all star?? (sorry gotta give him props for that dunk:grin:) Then Bev got the assignment in the 2nd half and Shved literally folded. Now there's a contrast for ya.

four assists in the 4th quarter, which helped a 11-0 run. To you it's like he was nothing out there

I think Harden had an alright game. He didn't shoot well but he pushed the pace and got the other players some easy buckets. The only problem I had was his handles were shaky..the ball was just slipping off his hands like butter..he needs to tighten that up.

Omer 6 rebounds in 10 mins on his second game back, just amazing.

My problem with Harden on defense was he seemed to really really underestimate Luc a lot. When he was matched up on Chase, Corey, Shved his defense was good. But when on Luc he would just daze off allowing dribble penetration and wide open mid range jumpers.

Beverley has 0 points against Cleveland and gets lauded on this site for his performance because he filled up the rest of the stat sheet. Lin has a similar game against MN, 2 pts, 7 asts, 1 TO, 3 rebs and a steal and gets criticized.

And a lot of the same people pointing out that Lin contributed in other areas have blasted Bev when he had similar low-scoring games but filled other boxes on the stat sheet. There are people who are biased in both directions. Thing is -- when you lean heavily towards one player, you only take note of it when it slights your guy.

It definitely goes both ways, and it's dumb. Both Lin and Bev are guys who find other ways to contribute on nights when their shot isn't falling. Instead of appreciating that, there are people on both sides who get off on using scoring as the only important metric b/c it suits their agenda on a particular night.

It's a game thread people get heated during game threads but everything calms down when we win if we don't there is a **** storm of hate because people wanted to win so badly they need to find someone to blame. Jeremy is easy to pick on because when he is bad he looks really bad, but the very next play he will do something amazing, you cant come in the game thread if you are sensitive about a specific player because you will get your feelings hurt quickly.
