Sounds like we need a trade, but idk which player that is in the league that we could trade for at this moment, did you have someone n mind.

I do not like how easy it was for us to get trashed like this and it has been obvious all season that trapping us (Paul or Harden) is good enough for teams to hold off our offense(specifically the 21 series). I mean it works if the guys can hit their threes, but not if they miss all their shots and they are not shots taken in rhythm either...ugh.

 

I hate that you never know which team your goning to get on a certain game day. Either the uninspired lazy and bricking team or the one from last year.

Even during the game this team is so inconsistent you might see the nice flow moment and shooting then last quarter it goes south. Or they start lazy and try to come back way too late and they give up when they are close or tied.

I dont know how many times this has to be stated but the trade for Chris Paul was not a mistake, you "calling him out" is not gonna make Morey sit back and think "Oh hey this PWR guy really has a point"

CP, 17 points, 8 assists (however many games missed), $40 million per year

Lou Williams: 17 points, 4 assists (buzzer beater to beat pelicans at New Orleans tonight), $8 million per year

Montrez harrel: 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, $6 million per year.

Clippers record 16-7 (11-5 conference record)

Rockets record 11-12 (5-9 conference record)

Not looking good so far, wonder who that first round pick they got will be

 

Sorry no. We aren’t losing games by 12 points because of role players.

 

Facts!

 

That's a dumb way to look at things because we had both Lou Williams and Montrez on this team and we got blown out by the Spurs without Leonard. This team was made for ball handlers, that why we were the best team in the NBA last season.

 

Some of it is definitely on coaching. Whenever the team's performance is night and day between the first half and the second half, it usually means the opponent made some adjustments and we didn't respond well. MDA has always been stubborn with his ways, so he never really makes any timely adjustments.

 

Zero idea. Another option is an off-ball mover that can get you some offensive flow without having to use the pick and roll as a primary attack. Guys like Redick and Korver won't be options, but then maybe someone like Ellington, but he's a small SG which makes the fit a bit odd.

 

If you want to blame Chris Paul, go ahead.

He came into tonight’s game averaging 18/8/4 and the Rockets were something like 12-7 in games he played.

 

Nothin dumb about stating facts, what’s dumb is u calling it dumb. So gtfo. Montrez was young and lot of room to grow and he’s showing it. Maybe he wasn’t used properly?

Anyways it’s not like I gave an opinion, or said I disagreed with the trade, I just stated facts. Look at it how u want to. But it isn’t looking good this season. So stfu and move along

Sorry yeah, when you have a 6 man rotation and an older team, you will lose games like tonight.

 

Would LOVE to have a guy like Melo coming off our bench tonite. The Rockets are putting too much on Harden's shoulders while we're getting no offense off our bench. We are hurting

 

And we just lost a 17 point lead to the wolves and lost by what 12. What’s your point. Every game/season/matchup is different.

 

Blaming is too much, but holding him accountable for the performance is right. Paul does have to play better, and the whole team, him as well as the coaching staff need to find ways to get him going better against a team like this with how they played him defensively. Chris Paul usually only has games where he scores 5 points when the team is blowing out an opponent by 20-30+ all game and he doesn't see a need to score.

 

If you weren't bemoaning the trade and clamoring for Lou/Trez in the WCF last year, no point in doing it now. That trade was executed with the expectation of a limited window, and it's looking fairly certain that the window was last season.

 

Yeah you don't disagree with the trade, you just name random stats of players on other teams without a point. No need to cop out, just say that we should have rolled out with the same roster last season with the same players as the year before that
