It was. A total nail biter I've simultaneously experienced both thrilling exhilaration that made me feel alive and also extreme frustration that prob aged me by a couple years.

Green cant be traded till the offseason, after a bad start FVV has started to turn it up and play great. I am not confident in Reed Sheppard at all he needs more seasoning.

The rockets goal should only be to build momentum. Learn from Knicks and Wolves mistakes and dont mess up a good thing due to Greed. Sengun is 22, Amen is 21 and Tari is 23. People keep saying we are a piece away but we are not, Lebron and MJ only won a ring in their late 20s are we saying our guys are 5 yrs better than the goats? lol cmon.

We should set SMART goals in the preseason and stick to that no matter how good the team looks RN. Making itchy trigger finger trades thats Morey method and look how much he ****ed up on the Sixers.

I love FVV but I don’t know if I would be ok with paying him 40+ million next year. If we get rid of his contract and greens we could legitimately sign 2 stars or some key players to this team with all the cap flexibility.

I’m not saying I disagree with the overall sentiment here, but when people say we are a piece away, I think it’s widely accepted that piece is a superstar.

The MJ and Lebron age part doesn’t really make sense as they would be the one leading us, not Sengun or Amen.

Sengun for sure has to make 3s. His scoring is one dimensional, he is not Shaq. He can’t keep getting hacked by defenders. I was hoping this was the year he took a leap in shooting. Not the case so far.

Why would any East owner agree to this though? That’s the problem. Pretty sure you need a majority vote.

think Silver is all behind this to get pushed but when expansion teams get added.

aka Seattle and Vegas. Pretty obvious those are the picks.

What a rollercoaster ride it must've been watching this game live.

I left the TV with a couple minutes remaining in the 3rd Q to do something else -- Rockets were up 10. I returned 45 minutes later and saw the Rockets up 5 with 2 minutes left.. I'm thinking "cool.. Rockets didn't collapse".

    - But realized later, it wasn't the 4th quarter leading by 5 -- it was OT.
    - Rewatched the part I missed.... Rockets not only collapsed in the 4th, they were *losing* by 5.

    ROLLERCOASTER

Great overall outcome, especially on the road, against a "good" team.

What's wrong with bringing a team back to Waterloo or Sheboygan?

You cant get a superstar with spare parts. We lose our depth with a superstar. No superstar will come here unless we sacrifice Sengun, Amen or Tari at least. Just on the money front alone if we add a superstar making 60M a year majority of our guys are gone.

I am not against trading for a superstar but lets make sure we dont have a superstar first. Lets not do a Clippers and trade an SGA for a Paul George or even a Wolves and trade Kessler for a Gobert.

People keep pointing to the Kat trade but they dont realize the real culprit for that is the Gobert trade. Since they got Gobert Wolves needed to cut salary and thats why they had to trade Kat. If they didnt trade for Gobert they would be at the top of the West with Kat. Naz Reid and Kessler.

Legler actually is more up to date on the Rockets than I expected from a national media guy.

Have to see how the season goes. Are you really trying to justify 40 million plus for FVV? Dude is shooting sub 34% on threes

At the minimum we should decline the option and restructure his contract in a team friendly manner. Nobody in the offseason is going to offer an aging FVV more than 35 million. We signed him to 40+ million for his leadership for 2 years, no way he’s a max player.

The fact that he can be cut is the reason why he is making 40M. People keep bringing up his salary without realizing why he was paid so much.
