Glad we pulled out the win. It shouldnt have gone to OT. A couple of observations:

1). We have a big problem offensively. We have zero offensive creativity. If we aren’t moving the ball, we are in big trouble. Fred is having to work too hard. And you can see it when his shot stops falling later in games. Not having a good SG is really handicapping this team.

2). Sengun with another triple double. It was really great seeing him have success against a long, skilled defender like Gobert. I’d like to see more mid-range shots, but no more 3’s at the top of the key please. His D is truly a revelation. Can’t say enough about Sengun’s improved D.

3). Reed clearly still trying to find his comfort zone. I’m not worried, but starting to think some time in the G-league isn’t a crazy idea.

4). Bari’s defense looked good tonight. Nice to see his shot coming around too. The athletic limitations are so glaring though.

5). Fred simply can’t stay with quicker guards. I hated seeing Dillingham beat him off the dribble by a mile every time.

6). Amen saved us. Thank God for Amen

7). Some really terrible calls by the refs tonight.

8). Dillon is having the best season of his career. But what was he thinking with that 3pt attempt near half court? Lol

9). Not gonna harp on Jalen. It feels mean at this point.

10). It is pretty incredible how successful we are with so few reliable shooter on the roster. Ime is not perfect, but I don’t think anyone could do better with the lack of shooting on the roster. Stone needs to step up and properly balance this roster this offseason; preferably sooner.

I mean them making the wcf was Fools gold. No one really thought they were contenders. A team with Gobert is never gonna win in the playoffs. He is so useless on offense and his defense is vastly overrated.

Gobert has done nothing for them. They had Kessler anyway who would have provided the rim protection Gobert has done.

Plus Gobert has butter fingers Kessler at least can catch lobs and passes.

That Gobert trade was one of the worst in history.

And they keep doubling down on it by paying him max contracts. It's insane.

I’m hoping Reed is pulling a Yao Ming and it starts clicking for him after 20 games because it’s getting frustrating watching other rookies score at ease & we get excited for 2 threes.

To be fair, those guys are getting minutes and Reed is stuck behind a pretty deep rotation of talented players. I obviously don't wish injuries on the team, but at some point, one of the guards or wings will miss time and he'll get more of a chance to shine. In the meantime, if he wants more minutes, he's got to come in and be the lockdown shooter they need him to be.

I didn't love that win, but Minny did play hard.

In a league with this level of three game... we just can't have the droughts that we do. I'm glad we pulled it out, but geez did we have so many avoidable slips.

    13-6, I don't hate it.

I'm not trying to be too negative, but I've kind of written him off for this season. Hard to be disappointed with zero expectations. He hasn't shown any ability to consistently get by NBA defenders.

some of yall want the world and more. all the other rookies don't have 17 vets in front of them. Rob Dillingham needed an injury this game and missed 5-6 shots before he got warmed up. Reed don't have that kind of runway to shoot and get warm.

He's had the time enough to make his move and set his shot. His confidence is shot.

Win win, Rockets win a Cup game and advance one round and Minny had Dillingham developing.
