It is hard to demand the ball from the bench.

There were many possesions today where Yao had perfect positions but just get our guards' attention. He was still agreesive despite the foul trouble, but he cannot dictate whether the ball goes to him or not.

This is an ugly disppointing W. But a W is better than a L. We aren't playing like we should and we cannot win over good teams by playing crap like this.

Without Tmac, Rockets players would look for Yao even if he's fronted. With Tmac, they just gave up the idea quickly. At the same time, Yao didn't get the ball when he beats the fronting, that includes Tmac, who would just take a pull up jumper instead of dumping to Yao in the paint.

We're tied with Minny for the 8th spot in the playoff with a 3-4 record. :D

This team just needs to find its stroke and work itself into game shape. We've got some older guys, T-Mac coming off tough injuries, and a center with stamina problems. Give them some more time to get into prime shape and we'll have a team that comes out energized and finishes strong.

The defensive rotation early in the game was pretty bad. Hopefully it will get better later when the guys are more comfortable with each other.

I think JVG just decided not to play him. No injuries that I've heard of. Dwes has slowly been shooting himself out of the slump, but I think Head should see more time.

Rockets. We put the UG! in ugly.

But an ugly win is better than an ugly loss.

Hey, so it wasn't the Dream Team. I say a good win, nonetheless. Everyone played better in the 4th...that's progress.

Swift looked better - more sure of what his role was (why the limited PT I wonder) At one point he made 3-4 great plays in a row at both ends.

Wesley looked more like an NBA player - his shot is still shaky, but that guy is a ball-hawk. He at least brings a little stability to the position compared with say DA and Alston.

Alston came through at the end.

DA...well, the guy still is a little trigger-happy for my tastes, but he shot over 50% for once, so I shouldn't complain

Good one. I saw two fouls, TWO that actually should be called. Call 3 BS fouls on anybody in the league and see how well he does.

I thought there was contact on all of Yao's fouls. Nobody complained about any of the fouls, not even Yao. As a matter fact there were two that weren't called on him (one Wesley picked up and the other where he fouled KG and they didn't call anything). Yao is geting a lot more respect.

Yao is slow to rotate so he gets in compromising positions where he can't block the shot, but he can't get himself out of the way. Hopefully the guards will help him a bit by containing dribble penetration better.

Atleast 3 of yao's fouls were due to howards lack of D. he had tro come and helpout howard. if Swift was there, noway yao would have had so many fouls. i just cant see why JVG keeps perserving with Howard. he is hindering yao game. his lack od defensive prowess is hurting the team. KG had alot of trouble with swift, but he lite up howard big time.

For sure. For some reason, we play poorly against crappy teams yet we play well against good teams...

I thought that one he was looking for a charge. I am not sure if something is wrong for this team or not. But first three quarters, TMAC looks a little bit of strange. He is slow on the move and does not take care the ball. I just hope he is not fully recovered yet, otherwise It seems that he is not quite happy with VGD or his teamates.

Swift's 2+1 is the key play, and T. Mac last two asists to Alstone locked the win.
We were lucky that we stood at the end of the game, not like we lost vs Nok and Magic.
