I know he was in foul trouble, but it would've been nice to see Yao take more than 8 shots

Tmac needs some rest. There must be something wrong with his body now. On that fast break, I fully expected him to flash to the basket and dunk the ball, but he run as slow as Ward. That just doesn't seem to be Tmac.

Last three games Yao has averaged 7.5 shots a game.
The three games before that Yao averaged 19 shots a game.

Can a player be more inconsistent?

YES! seriously with the tough teams coming up we could not be 2-5 heading into those games and then going 2-7 (they way they've been playing they would lose big time to both san antonio and detriot) thats just as bad as the 6-11 start last year. Hopefully they can get some rest and suprise the spurs but i am not sure. the team hasnt fully clicked yet but we may have a chance if yao is allowed to play

    F the refs

Its a win, but it is also a bad sign for the next three games-San Antonio and Detroit back to back, and then the Pacers on Sunday.

So this becomes Yao's fault because not many plays ran for him since Tmac is back?

Just looked at the stats and it seems we only had 12 turnovers. It seemed more since just about every time we were about to get the lead we had a turnoever.

We won! wohoo!! But for some reason I'm not terribly excited yet. Yao needs to take more responsibility for offensive the performance of the team rather than be so reliant on TMac. He needs to start getting smarter on the court, stay away from tacky fouls and SHOOT MORE. Geez it's frustrating to know you've got a 7'6" giant who has a good shooting touch and yet doesn't exploit it.. GO ROCKETS!!!

I am sure there are plenty of plays ran for him.. he just can't get into position and allows people to front him too much.

I think the underlying implication is that Yao isn't demanding the ball enough

That was as ugly a game as I have ever seen. If all NBA games were this bad, the league would go out of business. At least a little drama down the stretch and the Rockets actually won, which seems very unlikely considering the way they played.

Ming is a foul magnet and seemed very hesitant with his shots. When you make Olakandi look like Bill Russell, well that is just sad.

TMac is not 100% healthwise, I assure you

Wesley is done, he looks like he is at least 40, its all over but JVG's loyalty to older players, destination end of the bench.

Anderson and Alston, I don't know. Anderson looks slow. Alston airballed a lay up, but he had some good drives and some nifty passes. Jury is still out, but it is not looking good.

    Head was MIA. ???

Swift has his moments, I am still hopeful

Howard made some shots, some decent defense, but looks slow, looks old.

The Rockets look like they are missing a very important ingredient, enough talent to make the playoffs. This was supposed to be a talent-added team, looks like a talent-subtracted team. That really disappoints me. Yeah, they won, but they look horrible.
