The TWolves always play us tough. I predicted a win, but I'm not shocked by the loss. We're still doing great.

At full strength, we would have blown them into the sky. Atleast we improved from our last outing against the wolves.

Oh well! the Rockets had a little good win stretch anyway. With their offense so heavily depends on their 3 pt shootings, its expected sometimes their shoots just fell short and cant pull out a win. And today is one of those days.

I believe that more often than not, we are the better team than the Wolves, even with only one of our two big stars. Even just having Bonzi or Snyder could have put us over the top this game.

    But two things:

1.) Can someone PLEASE explain to me why the **** JVG was willing to take the risk with putting Novak in the game in overtime, yet he WASN'T willing to take that risk with Luther Head or John Lucas at point? Why!??? Rafer was ice cold, and Lucas and Head were the ones who were in the game during our 4th quarter charge. Why change it up? I like JVG, but I will never understand his rotations...

2.) T-Mac, as great as he played, can not be free from blame in overtime. He was deferring to teammates too much. I love that he's so unselfish and has trust in his teammates, but he needed to realize that it was all about #1 in overtime. He had hit so many big shots, why didn't he look for more? He should have kept forcing the issue inside, and then only pass it up if he found someone open for a jumpshot or layup.

He had 3 people on him at every position in OT. who would you rather taken the shots?.. a Triple teamed McGrady, or a open juwan or someone else not named rafer?. can you people think before passing unvalid judgements. the onus was on hes teammates to stepup and they didnt.

It's a OT L, not the end of the world, coz we will have nearly 20 L this season, then, with about 50 Ws, we will definitely in the playoffs, and with healthy T-Mac and Yao, Rox will give this league a big surprise.
Rafer sucks as he always does, I don't have the stats of all these games but I think he only makes 4-14(or16) FGs per game this season, if he plays 5-10 less mins and makes 4-10 FGs, it's OK. JL should have more mins, he can make more FGs than Rafer.
The coming games are even tougher, we may get a L streak, but if we can win 3-4 of the next 9 games, it's OK, we can maintain .500 and Yao will be back, everything is gonna be fine.

Rafer Aston is the worst PG in NBA. There is no reason to play him for more than 30 min.

some of the posters in here are way too emotional about a loss like this. it's like a win = praises and "we're the best" and losses = we're so bad and blaming it on those certain players you hear about all the time. this team will win games and this team will lose games. that's just the way it goes.

It was a hard fought game today... and I really thought we would come out in OT and win it.

That being said, we were so homered.

They called 28 fouls on the Rockets and only 16 on the T'wolves. We shot 2 free throws in the second half.. ONLY 2! When Minny shot 40 total free throws.. the Rox 19 for the whole game. There is no way that happens in a fairly reffed game.

As much as I know you have to play your game regardless of the situation that you are dealt, I feel like complaining about the "three blind mice" J Kidd got fined over!

He isn't a "pass first" point guard, he's a "clank it first" point guard.

how many games did he have 4,5,6 of 16,17,18

replace that with someone of 10,11,12 of 17,18,19 and you'll get the number

Rafer needs to sit his ass down or be traded

If there was one difference in the officiating, I'd say that it was that Garnett got "superstar" calls, whereas Tracy got treated like a mere mortal.

I didn't mind the officials at all.

The Wolves went to the hole and forced the refs to call it...Houston settled for jumpers....

No wonder there was a descrepency...
