    What i noticed today:

So much Novak hype, can't do **** in the regular season.

    Timberwolves have a good team.

Trade Rafer. He is not in a shooting slump. He can not shoot.

    We should start JL3

I still dont know why Rafer is in the league, we need to trade him, he is getting like 20 open looks and isnt making any, he is inconsistent.

Luther Head, he does good most of the time, but cmon tonight was just crap, way differen't last time.

Novak, you are not a clutch shooter, good bye.

Rafer sucked but why in the world does JVG stick with this guy. Oh, well 4 more weeks till Yao gets back and I'll be praying for no more injuries for the rest of season.

4-17 and not clutch. That like what, three straight games he shot under 30%, that is bullcrap. Why don't you get some assists instead of shooting shots that you never make?

How do people blame this loss on Van Gundy? Alston and Novak were missing wide open shots.

Funny. If our guys make shots that they were making the last few games, all of a sudden its a great coaching job. But when they don't, and we lose in overtime against a pretty good team (particularly at home), he's a terrible coach.

wow......reefer has gone too far, or is it JVG? why in the world did he put rafer in there for overtime?!?!?! he KNEW hes like 2-100000 shooting. so why put him in? chances are the trend will continue. give novak plays designed for him, start JL3, and trade rafer for SOMETHING. my god....

Novak took all of 2 shots...TWO FRICKEN SHOTS !!!!!

Rafer took what 17 shots, and missed 11 in a row....uh...yeah it was Novak's fault.

They played Novak at center to spread the floor, it was a very good move and it allowed the Rockets to get back into the game.

Okay wait a minute are you comparing Novak to Yao ? read my post I just posted about Novak...You said we found a good shooter okay...Now thats a really weird comment to make when a guy has looked horrible the whole game. I never said he wasn't going to get better because we do not know but for tonight we found a shooter ? That statment just made no sense...If he would have shot lights out then that statement would have made sense...

You have to know this: DaDa will blame everyone and his mother BUT "his" guys Novak and V-Span...that's just how he functions. Those two guys continue to suck and all he can do is blame the one player that gave us a chance and got us into overtime.

DaDa works in mysterious ways...logical thinking be damned!

A few other words of wisdom...

Novak had a couple of decent looks and should have made those shots, but
honestly I can't blame him too much. He only took a total of 2 shots - it's a bit much to ask a shooter to come in and warm up and start nailing clutch 3's after only 2 shots. He still should have hit them, but I can't really be too upset at him. His defense on Blount was pretty bad on that one play where he got the and1 over him though. Novak still needs to work on his defense... that play was pathetic, he had his back turned to Blount and just looked in complete disarray.

Lucas is short and might not be the answer, but at this point, I'm willing to give him more and more minutes and cut into Rafer's.

When we were up at the beginnig of overtime, T-mac stood by idle as Trenton Hassle snared a rebound over him and put it up for a layup. This was coming off a wide open KG miss, something that won't happen too often. He would have a chance to go up four, but instead it ended up tied.

What hogwash...anyone that sucks, I will say it...I just can't blame a guy for taking 2 shots when someone else took 17...and missed 11 in a row.

This game was there for the taking but the Rockets are a mentally weak team...when challenged they panic.....they could have won this game by playing smart team basketball...but....

I agree. I don't really like Van Gundy very much, but if you miss shots, you'll probably lose.
