Watching the game with my 14 year old I was saying that when they got down by 20, put in some of the young guys...to see if their freshness can get us going, Wiltjer might have helped but he is in RGV...

Not a big deal - they were not going undefeated the rest of the way. We are fine.

They should have given Wiltjer the opportunity. He's quick for his size and probably would have grabbed a few more boards or gotten a block here and there. But he would drain some 3s at the very least.

You cannot hate coach for not trusting players like KJ, Bobby Brown, even Ennis tonight. I mean, that is the only way to make up the minutes without Eric Gordon. Plus, we have been overcoming big defeits as well. What do you think would have been better?

It may have helped had they put away Charlotte early the other night and gotten the starters rested up, but not that big a deal in the big picture.

It's more than that . I think not only does that move give us a better chance to win , it also helps preserve Ariza and James . Both of those guys have played heavy minutes the last few seasons and it shows that they can get worn down from time to time .

Those are two of the four most important players to our team . Ariza's shooting in particular has an incredible correlation with out winning percentage . It also has a strong correlation with how much gas he has .

Maybe for the T-Wolves no Zach Levine was a little addition by substraction. They get to play more Thib-Ball defense and pound it inside to Towns.

The loss is fine. My only problem was being able to hear Thibodeau yell all god damn night. It's draining even as a spectator. If he were our coach I'd have to put all the games on mute. How do the players not shut that guy out?

Not mad at all. The travel schedule the Rockets have this month is a bit crazy with one night home stands sandwiched between road games in not so close cities. Hopefully they get Gordon back for Friday and can get back on another streak. Team can still use another shooter to replace Brewer. He's like the last piece of a bad memory.

You can't ever gain trust if you don't give them a shot . You know what .. If you put them in and they suck the worst that happens is that we lose the game .

It still shows all the other players on the bench that you can get a chance so stay working hard .

It shows the players in the rotation that they have to play up to snuff and that if they go down then other players get to pick up the slack .

It's just like Calvin said in the post game .

As for what I would have done .... The key is harden . If you want guys to come in and play well , play them with James . Give KJ minutes with James . Give Dekker more minutes with James .

Coach has given Dekker and Harrell a spot in our rotation. Those guys earned their spot over the others, and you're only going to play a limited number of young players in a season where you're winning.

I'm sure coach's reason for not playing those guys is justifiable. Harrell had to deal with inconsistency but stayed on course and now he gets healthy playing time.

Too many back to back games, and the Rockets can't win them all. It was a sad loss, but it's going to happen eventually. We need to just move on and start winning again.

How is it embarrassing? We're missing our starting center and 2nd best player and it's the 2nd night of back2back.

You're the only one who is embarrassing here. Rockets are on pace for 60+ wins one loss and it's embarrassing for you? LMAO
