Clutchfans Game Thread: Rockets @ Thunder 8/22/2020 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

Gotta finish strong. The Thunder fans probably feel great about how their team has played, and we're pulling out our hair. Yet our team is going into the fourth with the lead.

I want a short series.

 

They have got a bigger fatter version of Chris Clemons, who cant hit anything, guarding Harden lol

In a long line of OKC brick laying defenders in a bid to shut Harden down.

Sefolosha, Roberson and now a fat Chris Clemons.

I hate it when criticism of someone automatically devolves into it being about that person's gender, race, etc. Doris is awful, agreed, and it has nothing to do with her sex.

 

Chris Paul is really irritating to watch when he's not on your team. He complains about literally everything.

You are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. That statement you quoted doesn't necessarily apply to gender. Talk about a narrative. Maybe they didn't care for her fake enthusiasm. IDK but lets not jump to conclusions. There is female Rockets fans on this board.

I don't see why you guys can't understand she threw the shade first....nobody is obligated to like her. Is she a decent commentator, sure. Nobody likes when she pushes false narratives. Period.

Rivers is playing so badly. Honestly, no one is shining outside of Harden and Green.

 

Not a single word about CP3 flopping the whole game

 

ESPN and the national media already had the puff pieces ready for cp3 sending harden home in the playoffs. It’s not going according to plan so the media and NBA are b****ing and now the refs are turning up the heat to throw harden off his game.

Westbrook potentially not making all mba is supposed to be a shot a harden as a teammate. Now cp3 is in mvp talks lol

 

If the bench can keep this lead for 4 minutes, then I feel pretty good with Harden closing this. He's been able to find a way to score every time OKC has threatened to take control of this game. Other than Green, no one is really given the Beard much support, but he's put the team on his back as the greats will do.

 

He is. Gordon has had his moments, but not all that hot himself. Throw Mac in there and see if he can keep from fouling everybody and hit some 3’s.

It was really no big deal, it was right before the half. She's a professional she knew it wasn't one. All good though.

 

Never heard any scrub get as much play has Dort in the past 2 games. James is making this dude money.

 

She does as good a job as most men. But if I hear any more praise for Dort I'm going to puke.
