ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Thunder 4/24/2013 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 2)

Good game. Nice lineup change by mchale. Beverley was great.

Losing lin was big. Harden worn down at the end. But harden played great. Asik was good. Parsons rusty but hustled.

I think we take 3 and 4.

 

That's a shame the refs ruined the game

 

We missed too many wide open shots, especially 3 pointers. Our young players can be proud of themselves. They never gave up, and played as well as they could. Bev was huge tonight, and really messed up WB's head. But his 4th foul and Lin's injury were just unfortunate.

We fought till the end, and showed the whole NBA that we belonged there, unlike the pathetic game 1.

Now we need to protect our home.

 

I'm proud of this team, kept it close, competitive. Bad calls from the refs all night, missed 3's down the stretch, and missed FT's cost us the game. We were this close to winning ... We need another big scorer on the team.

 

We lost by 2 points.

That missed call on the 3 by Thabo made a huge difference.

 

Great effort. Still too many turnovers.

Harden and Bev were outstanding tonight.

 

That was still a good game. Proud of the way the Rockets hung in there and almost stole one.

Hahaha you funny If he gets it and shoots it you gonna call it hero-ball or ISO or whatever. If he can't get it now you complain. Make up your mind homeboy... Just looking for anything to complain about. You probably think we should really win this series don't you?

 

Heck of a game I have to say. These guys played their hearts out and gave the WC champs a run for their money. I hope they keep riding this confidence wave because I'd love them to make this a series.

The Rockets shot clock management has been crappy of late. Frustrating.

 

Proud of Rox tonight and I'll give McHale credit for the Beverly move. He was really the difference. Like I said earlier Rox have to play very well and get breaks to beat this team. If Parsons played better, Rox had this.

 

I can't believe Lin has still been non-existent in the playoffs last year and this year!

 

There is no moral victory tonight in my opinion. We should have won this game, plain and simple.

That transition pass to Parsons was the momentum killer.

Had them on the ropes up until that point.

Love how peaceful the GT was tonight btw after Lin left.
