We're one of the worst defenses, negating that fact.

Here's why you feel good at half.....Jimmy has 6 pts......that means he is going to have a bear of a 2nd half. Also shooting 37% and no blocks...none.zero...hello Capela !

Yup, exactly. Westbrook plays as though every game is his last. Harden plays as though he doesn't really care.

 

It's as if Rockets aren't respecting any shots or drives.

 

Yes he has had an awful series from the three but he is getting rebounds and some put backs

 

this is my second half lineup if im the rockets:

Bev, Ego, James, Ryno, Nene

lou, trevor, capela off the bench. capela should strictly only play when kanter does - and if this is the case, we absolutely need to attack kanter. this forces okc to either switch or kanter or we can attack each other (ours will be off PnR which can create 3's, while kanter will just bully ball his 2s with the occasional double - something i don't mind trading.) you can also change james minutes around to have him in the game more when kanter is.

 

When you view the game through spreadsheets and not reality, you can make some startlingly poor conclusions.

There is nothing wrong with a 3s and layups focused team, but if teams are taking that away, you need to be able to use the midrange or post games to change things up.

It's not luck.

OKC should be very worried about only being up 4.

It sets up perfect for us to win going away.

Those #'s tell you all you want to know.

 

I think they don't want him to attack the rim, tbh we don't have a guys like Roberson who can always stay in front of you regardless of who you are, Pat and Trevor are good defenders but Westbrook is just too quick and explosive, if they stay too close he'll probably burn them 8 times out of 10, and his mid range shot tends to go off a lot so that's probably what they like to live with

 

Put maximum effort on defense. We should be able to score enough but if we don't stop them this trend will continue.

 

They obviously read Clutchfans

 

at this point Troy Williams looks like a worthy option, he's lengthy and plays good Defense while he can spread the floor with his 3s....don't forget help with rebounds as well.....Ryan A just ain't cutting it with his passiveness

 

They aren't one of the worst offenses in the league against us, my friend. They've scored at will all series.

 

We keep saying "we're playing like crap, but only down X points!"

Give me a break. Sick of this ****. Same ole thing, we'll trail by 7-12 points all game. Make a little run. Then trail 7-12 again.
