OKC would be up 2-1 if Westbrick didn't go chuckmode in game 2. Think about that. We are playing like crap.

I agree with all of this except with harden. If I'm him I'm going for the win in that situation as well. Of course it's easy to say now that a timeout was needed to draw up a play but if he makes that then we're all jizzing our pants right now

not enough is being said about how amazing harden has been while playing against one of the best defenses in the league being guarded by one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.

3 straight 35+ point games, are you kidding me.

it's a shame our horrendous bigs cost us the game.

Oh no ... gloves are off?

The only way to solve this is a duel - Hamilton/Burr style.

Remember....30 feet away... and then fire....

And this is a poor reflection on him. The team shows no sense of urgency pretty much like MDA doesn't really show much sense of urgency at times. The team the last couple of games were not prepared in the beginning to play a regular season game let alone a playoff game.

Not sure why Harden was so scared of OT. Twice he went for the win with a three. He'll execute better next time around.

I assume he knows he's not getting any benefit of the doubt on contact at the rim. By taking a three he at least gets a shot off and doesn't leave it up to the officials to blow a whistle (which again, they likely won't in that situation).

He also had 5 fouls, and Beverley was already fouled out. Probably had a better shot making a contested three than making a two and going on to win in OT on the road.

Because coaches thinking is we are up in the series and wouldn't want to risk going into OT and losing and wasting all of that energy

Bev already fouled out and harden had 5. We would've lost in OT, going for 3 was the right move

28% from 3pt land. Rockets are now 3-13 when they shoot 28% or less

Ariza, Ryno, Bev, Gordon, 3-19 combined

Nene was fine, he should play more. I would say Ariza and Beverley cost us big this game. We HAVE to make threes to beat opponents. Shooting sub-30% just won't work in the playoffs. Morey still has a lot of work to do in the offseason.

Some really bad decision making by james but overall he was amazing. Problem right now is Ariza who just stinks. He provides nothing besides those silly turnover over prone drive followed by 150 pump fakes or brick threes. With him we are playing 4 on 5 out there.

I was really hoping Dekker would be one of those young players who makes a name for himself. I would play Harrell and Troy Williams. You can't get much worse than what Ariza is giving you.

adams was in the paint ready to contest / block the shot and i'm certain harden would not have got the call in that situation.

the 3 was the right decision

man that would have been one of the greatest shots in rockets history if that went down.

D'Antoni shouldn't be happy with the status quo and expect the Rockets' supposed superior talent to beat OKC on the road. I want to see some rotation changes, especially some extra energy to start the game.

I would yank Ariza out of the starting lineup for Gordon, or even move Anderson to the 3 and start Harrell at the 4 to matchup with Gibson. I would also eliminate some of Ariza's minutes with Troy Williams.

A shot to win game 3 of a 1st round playoff series that they already led 2-0 would have been one of the greatest shots in Rockets history?
