If Lou gets rid of that ridiculous 3 .2 sooner, we win :(

yeah we just couldn't keep westbrook off the glass, even after westbrook took the shot after westbrook set the pick for himself. great play by the westbrooks.

    Agreed.

Can't tell if it's an Interwebs thing or just millennials.

Either way, it's flat out shameful.

    Terrible post. Just awful.

Every 50-50 call down the stretch went the Thunder's way due to a fired up home crowd ..so the obvious, in your mind, choice when you've trailed the whole game and relied on the 3 more So than any team ever is.....drive into a bigger team and hope the refs bail you out.

This ESPN anchor - I like him

He said if he had a vote would vote Harden and he is making sense now

Yes OKC shot 55% at home and just marginally won. Not a good sign for them

If the Rockets do anything this offseason, it needs to be upgrading at the 3. I thought Ariza was bad in the series against Golden State last year, but I think he's been even worse so far in this series. In 112 minutes, the guy has scored a whopping 15 points! He's shooting 33 percent from the floor, has yet to hit a 3-pointer on 6 attempts and, in probably his most important play of the season, he let Adams go right over the top of him for that offensive rebound and the easy putback.

He's been OK defensively in this series, but I honestly don't think his defense is worth his complete ineptitude offensively and his inability to step up when the game is on the line. Bring in anybody else at this point. Hell, I'd rather see them start Troy Williams.

Hopefully we wrap up the series in the next two games so we can rest up for Memphis

I'm ok with not taking a timeout. Looks like Mike AntoniO trusts Harden to make the right choice

it paid off against Denver and was inches from coming off here. Oh well...

Definitely not happy about losing. But these are the takeaways from the game.
    1. Ryan Anderson played well, and found his shot.
    2. Gordon was amazing on both sides of the ball.
    3. Sweet Lou Williams was also solid.
    4. Beverley was in foul trouble most of the night, and didn't have the offense he'd had in the previous two games.
    5. Harden had TO's and TO's play into the strength of OKC. They thrive off TO's to ignite their offense.
    6. Other than the TO's Harden had a great offensive game.
    7. Harden actually played decent-good defense. I was very happy with what he did.
    8. Westbrook almost tried one on five ball in the 4th but changed his mind and his team responded.
    9. OKC's players not named Russell Westbrook did much better than they had in the previous two games. Russell made a conscious effort to get them involved and it worked.
    10. Even with all of that the Rockets still had a chance to win the game.

I'm more pissed we didn't get those two consecutive AND1s when Gordon and someone else got fouled driving to the basket. Those two opportunities and all of the pushing/over the back by Okie big men never gets called.

Rockets can get to around 115 points against OKC's defense even when they're not playing that well and can't make anything from 3

they need to stop playing around in the 1st half tho and DEFEND...OKC should not be scoring 60+ points in the 1st half, that just can not happen

u hold OKC to 100-105 points and that will be good enough to beat them...the Rockets should be able to get to over 110 no matter what basically, and if they hit their threes then they'll drop 130 on em

You know, I was in favor of a timeout. Could have gotten that three out of a drawn up play. We had, what, 8 seconds? Would have given the players time to compose themselves, draw something up, and communicate what every one was supposed to be doing. I'm not at all afraid of OKC's defense out of a timeout.

On a side note, was that just the shoes or was the floor really wet? I hate when **** like that happens. ugghhh.

For all the terrible defense Houston has played against OKC, I really like what they did tonight against Westbrook. I'll live with the long 2 all game. But we need to find a solution for Taj & Kanter - Lou/Nene really need to be out there with Kanter to run the PnR, expose him defensively.
