I remember those Spurs-Rocket games where the score was 71-75.

Mcgrady and Yao combining for 55 of them. ;)

Whew :). It's a good thing that wasn't an embarrassment of a first half!

you like the disappearing act he's doing? those good extra passes aren't helping to create offense

defense may be our main problem right now but its affecting our offense also

once again, I'd like martin to show up and do what he's known for, manufacture points even when he's not shooting well

Martin shot ZERO FTs, pretty rare.

lol!!! the rockets need to get camby in the offseason and keep jeffries and or hill for defensive purposes, chuck hayes can be let go, also go after either manu ginobili or von wafer for a backup wing off bench trade battier for a late 1st or 2nd round draft pick

That's a product of being poorly disciplined defensively. Teams fouling him is on the defense, he relys alot on defensive mistakes and when a team that tries to emphasize on defense like the Thunder guard him it's not gonna be pretty. He's being somewhat exposed so far.

are we talking about the same kevin martin? i don't even understand what you're trying to convey.

Kevin Martin gets paid 12 mill a year, we need his offense tonight, is that asking too much...

Battier, Jeffries, Hill, Anderson are all out.

CBud not playing well. Armstrong fumbling away easy passes that turn into fast breaks.

Looks like the Rockets are trying to improve their draft position tonight.

Disappearing act? So if other guys are shooting the ball well you want him to take the ball and throw up a shot just for his sake? The Rockets don't need him to dominate the ball.

He's doing fine on offense. It's defense that I'm worried about right now.

I just felt like it was an accomplishment keeping them from hitting 80 by halftime... they had 65 with 5 and a half minutes to go and I thought for sure they'd hit that mark.

Yao Ming's not going to save our defense completely, but you have to give him a lot more credit for his team defense. It all centered around him and, in the past, we didn't suffer much of a dropoff defensively when he was out because one of the greatest shotblockers of all-time (Mutombo) and a terrific post defender (Hayes) combined to fill that void.

I'm really not 100% sure what this team is going to look like next year... in the past most of us had a good idea of what they "needed", but now I'm not so sure. Fast/slow, offense/defense... going to be interesting to see what balance they find with Yao coming back (hopefully at full health).

He's been doing that since he entered the league, tonight he's pulling a disappearing act.

Personally I think Martin is a bit overrated for what he's paid for, but talking about tonight's game.

Will the real Kevin Martin please stand up, please stand up...

Dude I know you want Kevin Martin to be this great player but he really isn't. He's a system guy that exploits defensive mistakes. The Thunder haven't made too many on him tonight, thus his struggles.

And don't make the money arguement...we all know too well about players that made more than they earned...

Sorry, but I don't think there's ever an excuse for allowing 74 points in a half.
