Once upon a time, guys used to play 4 games in 5 nights a couple times a season. Now guys cant play two in a row?

No starter played more than 27 minutes vs OKC or NO. Guys already getting extra rest. Players made of glass or what?

It's Stephen Silas's Gang world and we are in for the ride. I expect Mason Jones not only to match but to outscore what Wall could have brought tonight. Also playmaker DMC it's a joy to watch for the old schoolers.

once upon a time, achilles injuries were career-ending. And we have three players coming off that surgery -- Wall, Nwaba and Cousins

Mason Jones will hopefully get an extended opportunity tonight from Silas. I have to think that this was part of Stone and Silas' calculus in that Mason would be highly utilized on these back to back games with Wall and Dipo alternating rest. It's great to have ball-handlers in Wall, Dipo, Eric, Mason, and even Tate (Cousins to an extent as a half-court facilitator once the ball makes it or his big man counterpart getting back without applying backcourt pressure).

Never sleep on teams in the League or they'll turn you into a snack. I hope the team shows out and doesn't play down to competition like our teams in the past and it seems they're not geared that way. I expect our threes to come back down to Earth from last game but we find other ways to pull this one out. Hopefully, Silas is playing the long-game with Mason out there unlike MDA would have. Excited to watch how we try to pull this W out tonight!

Yeah, seems like he's on a short leash now that he's been given a couple of chances. He's just missing that junkyard dawg factor that the other guys play with. If he can show that side of him and hit a couple of shots (the latter is what he's SUPPOSED to do but haven't) then he'll have a shot but he's running out of runway to showcase.

Wood can also create as a ballhandler. Crazy how things changed. We had no ballhandling big, and no real back ups for our BC. Now we have ballhandlers on Every position. Guys who can not only shoot or defend.
