McHale should've pulled a Pop, left Howard and Harden at home this trip.

 

This is the best game of his career, and he has what Harden averages per game.

But yeah, what an unfortunate trade that was for us.

Jeremy is really balling tonight. Jeremy Lamb that is.

 

Lamb and Anderson both came back to shoot lights out against their former team....

 

Lin 6, Harden 8, Howard 9, Jones 2

Parsons did fine with 15.

Extend the rotation maybe, at lease in closely spaced games. And Harden and Lin aren't 100 percent physically. It shows in closely spaced games.

 

We just lost to the same team without Westbrook that got steamrolled by the grizzlies, good job great effort guys

At the moment there are only 4 elite teams in the NBA not in any particular order. Heats, Pacers, Thunder and Spurs. We still have a long way to go to get to where they are.

 

Too bad Harden can't do that. Instead he always plays like complete **** against them.

 

If we had a bench that could actually play NBA ball, maybe we don't burn out the starters on a 4 games in 5 nights stretch.

But we've also beaten the Spurs twice and Portland.

If we were that rinky dink Lowry led team...I think a lot of times it is human nature for other Elite teams to sleep on teams like that.

There was NO WAY the Thunder were sleeping on the Rockets, no team will sleep on us or come into the game thinking "Easy win tonight."

That is a advantage we don't have anymore, in fact we are now the team that goes into games thinking "Easy win tonight." to learn that we are part of the hunted now.

To put things in perspective, if we're scheduled for a 4th-game-in5-nights loss it might as well be a loss to a top team. Losing by 30 points is recorded as an L the same as losing by 2 points.

Jeremy Lamb, really? Why is it that we can beat the Spurs twice and look as if we're capable of handling teams in that level but when we play OKC, we look like D-League team? The Pacers and OKC have embarrassed us so bad it's just painful to watch.

 

Good teams don't lose by 30+ no matter what.

Rockets are on the verge of doing that twice already.

 

We cannot play 2 PG's unless it is Lin with Beverly. Brooks and Lin together gives up to much on defense. When Lamb started to get his game going we could have played Brewer to take him out before he got his, ya know, career high.

Perkins was able to play good d on Howard because we are unable to get Howard enough deep looks. He is forced to take 4 or 5 dribbles to get close enough to make a move.
