are we talking about different plays? right after harden got blocked harden jumped in the air and deflected and almost stole the outlet pass and would've gotten it but he deflected it more toward russ than to himself. turning and running would've allowed him to watch the layup from 30 feet away instead of 50. seems he made the right play.

All what you say is true but i still don't see enough of the I'm a take it to you regardless of the situation or outcome attitude from Harden. He just lays down, gets blocked, makes a turnover or tries to draw a bs foul. How about putting the ball in the basket at the buzzer off a step back and walking off a winner.

Eventhough Kobe was getting beat the 2 years right after Shaq left during those years you saw fire in his heart man he at least tried to stab you in your heart... Harden wants the refs to save him. Harden needs to own it more and just taste blood and go for the kill.

Shut up you troll go find your teams board and infect them with your stupidity.
We played much better this game then the last 2 and that has ALOT to do with Capela,he really is a beast. You just have to give OKC credit here because they made clutch shot after clutch shot down the stretch...most of the shots were contested too so good for them.
We will be fine if healthy, but here are some issues we need to fix.
1.Backup big- Nene looks 10 years older then last year, and i have no idea why. He hasnt played heavy minutes or anything like that.
2.Backup PG-I understand that that is essentially James but we need a pure PG behind CP just incase he does go down. EG doesent cut it as a playmaker. He always seems like hes in a hurry.
3.Limit Arizas Minutes- This is so key, he is a completely different player when his minutes are under control

The 1 seed was really important to me a couple weeks back, but now looking at the big picture we just need to stay healthy. Playing SAS in the 2nd round is gonna be hard but so would playing OKC or MInn if we were the 1st seed. Stay healthy and Merry Christmas H-town

We need to win games like this. This is 3 losses in a row. Rockets did play good but like the media says Rockets are good now but wait until the end when it counts. At the end of this game... what do we have? More freakin excuses and James Harden depending on refs to ssve him. F that. Make a statement and beat teams like this without CP3. But Harden wants MVP... play the passing lanes and get a few steals... block Westbrook's shot sometimes especially since Harden himself gets blocked a lot in clutch moments of the game. Look greatness is hard to accomplish but i keep it real. I know Harden needs help but just because CP3 is out doesn't mean you gotta lose every game now.

Don't try to reason with delusional homers on this board, they're lost cause.

And with regard to that last shot, Harden just went chicken little against Roberson. He had no faith in himself that he could drain a shot in Roberson's face, so instead tried to draw a cheap foul as he always does, and refs just ignored him as they always do at the end of the games.

The big issue with Harden is that he's offensively more limited than many people realize. Harden has very poor off ball movement (unlike Curry) and at the same time doesn't have the physical tools to just shoot over people (unlike LeBron, Durant, etc.). Also, Harden has virtually no midrange and post-up game.

So all he can do is try to create space through herky jerky moves such as stepbacks (which doesn't work nearly as well against lengthy, athletic defenders), or draw fouls. Sure he can drop 50 when there's not much resistance, but against elite defenders Harden's effectiveness diminishes far more than any other superstars in this league, because his game is that much narrower in scope and relies on few tricks to score a lot of points.

Lol Harden dropped 43 on kawhi and 44 on Roberson in the playoffs last year. The only thing that will stop james harden is himself

Also high scoring games don't always result in wins

Weird that people keep leaning on the "Morey should just trade Ryno for depth" argument like it's a new concept the front office hasn't thought of. Anyway, I don't think Nene is a viable backup center at this point. I like Tarik and was really upset we let him go the first time around, but he hasn't shown much on this tour to suggest he can fill that backup role. I thought our center rotation was one of the best in the league, but it's beginning to look like a weakness.

    2017 Playoffs

    Against OKC : Harden's FG% was 41.1%. 3PT% was 24.0%

    Against SAS : Harden's FG% was 41.4%. 3PT% was 30.8%

one or two good games don't prove anything

There's no reason why Weber should get 1 minute of playing time.

We want to expand the rotation, you put Bobby Brown in to back up the Point position, since he has an NBA skill that is valued not only in today's NBA, but is instrumental in this team's success.

Weber I can only assume is there for his defense, but has not contributed to slowing an opposition player down and helping this team.

We are playing 4 on 5 with him on the court offensively. Passing down open shots has no place in this offense. Next man up D'Antoni, Weber is useless for us.

    Sleeping on OKC?

They barely beat Houston at home with Paul out while shooting lights out.

    They aren’t very good.

I was in okc live at the game and i saw that plain and clear. Weber is a straight liability offensively.

Why do people keep saying they hit lucky contested shots? Melo was open after a couple dribble moves all night...
