have some faith, the Thunder have lost to worse teams than the Rockets without CP3 and Clint...they just barely beat the 7-25 Hawks

from an 8-man rotation we're down to 5

I trust those 5 but we're only 5

it will take another super saiyan performance from harden

and a 20 Pt performance from 2 of Ego, RA, Ariza, Tucker (?), Nene (?)

and those 5 need to play better defense compared to the past 2 games

 

I get it, this game will be tough because we’re missing some important players, but this team does seem to have a knack for showing up for marquee games when needed

I don’t think they’ll come out with the same defensive effort that they displayed against sub-.500 teams like the Clippers and Lakers

 

We should do what Pop does. Throw people into the fire make em ALL play defense defense more defense and more defense.. then some more defense. When that doesn't work, play more defense. They ain't got that great chemistry, so they'll hesitate on passes. Then Westbrick will try to do it all by himself. We play zone on everyone else take the passing lane away. We win.

 

its not simply about losing players

but we have an already short 8-man rotation and our 2nd and 3rd best player and one of our best defenders are out

we don't have gsw, spurs, & bostons 12+ man rotation where they can lose their best player upto 3 starters and still win because there are 9+ players who are ready. we only really have 6 players ready

hope weber, black, & nene can play 20 minutes this game and ariza & harden not play 42 minutes

I bet D’antoni goes to a lot of 1-4 and 2-4 PnR to get Melo switched onto Harden or Ego

Nene played pretty well against OKC last year...I’m hoping for a repeat

we need Road Ryno and Contract Year Ariza to come through...around 15 points each would be nice

OKC struggles to score, bring the defensive intensity and don’t let some dude like Felton, Abrines, or Grant go off

it will be hard to contain Russ with a backcourt of Harden and Ego and no rim protection...Russ has been playing better lately

 

they also have PG, Adams, PPat... PG and Roberson will take turns defending and double teaming Harden.. so EGO, RA, and Ariza need to step up bigly..

OKC plays ugly ass basketball but if the Rockets come out like the last two games they will lose this this one. Hope Ryan and the other guys are ready to fire cause i think we should force them to go small, i don't trust Black and Nene against Adams.

Too early to predict OKC is bad or just mediocre.

I recall the Lakers also being below average.

I have a good enough feeling but OKC can also win this as holiday games are contested.

I wish we can blow them out though. Hope for a quality game and a Vic.

OKC is 17-15, they are a mediocre team that’s just been scraping by

 

Sure but they recently won more than they lost. What I am saying, they are starting to figure it out.

Still being inconsistent enough.

Patterson, Felton and their bench aren't really up to standard but could have a good day.
