Hope it's a W, this would be a huge confidence booster to top off a winstreak.. until we match up with the Heat  Then it would be anyone's ballgame.

Uh, I was just stating the obvious, the guy doesn't know the offense, doesn't know the defensive rotations, the team is digging itself out of a hole.

It could be a long time before he sees significant time on the floor, unless there is a trade or injury with the guys ahead of him.

Why? You do realize they play a defensive system right? Oh, never mind....what is the point, if you are just going to stop reading anyway, and don't want to educate yourself.

    No worries,

Well, seeing as we are ranked 24th overall in points allowed per game, and not a strong defensive team...

But you're right, gotta learn that precious defensive system!!

You do realize that different coaches have different styles of defense right? They don't just say "Ok, we're going to play man to man, go out there and do it! Just a small example, some coaches prefer to switch off picks, some prefer to hedge, and stick with your man. When a player "Hedges" to stop the penetration off of a pick, that means someone else (Besides the one guarding the player with the ball, and the guy hedging the screen) has to slide and pick up a man for just a second to allow the hedger to get back to his man. Sorry, I know I said that in the most confusing way, but it's complicated.

Defensive rotations is NOT an easy thing to just learn quickly. It takes time and practice.

Maybe they are looking for players to actually PLAY IT CORRECTLY?

It is the same basic system that was top 10 a couple of years ago....the only difference is in the players.....and one big 7'6" center at the rim.

I understand that. My point was just that we are not a very good defensive team right now, that's all.

True....true.....Adelman can coach defense......the players have just not been doing a good job of it, and they are missing the key component...a shot blocking big.

There is a reason Jordan Hill made a massive impact last night in the Sacremento game, he shut down the layup line, when he came in the game, immediately the Kings started shooting jumpers...and wallah, the Rockets ran away from them.

Rockets win, 102-99. Surprisingly, Battier does not outplay Durant.

If we win this and/also Portland loses to Dallas tonight (assuming they probably will).. We'll only be 1/2 game away from the 8th playoff spot from The Blazers.

?'s on whether Terrance Williams will play tonight????=

The reporter from the NJ Nets last night stated that Terrance Williams was already on a flight to Houston last night. I still dont believe he will be with the team but there is a good chance he will be in the lineup at least for Friday Vs. the Grizzlies.

The Rockets should have a walk through practice tommorrow to show him enough to pick up garbage minutes on Friday if the opportunity presents itself.

Given the Rockets leave for a weeklong road trip on the West coast this weekend he probably will be given some minor minutes off the bench until the Monday after next when Aaron Brooks should be back and someone will go inactive.

The Rockets probably wont get significant practice time for a week and a half so whether he knows the rotations or not he will play on Friday and should get good minutes off the bench for us in the road trip next week.
