That was a strange game. Tate was phenomenal, Brooks had a quietly excellent game, and Mathews is just a killer. I don’t know how you get him out of the lineup to be perfectly honest, he just fits so well. Hopefully Wood’s balsa Wood ankles aren’t splintered too badly again. It would be nice to have him for a full season.

 

Yeah, someone stepped on the back of his ankle and he sprained it.

Argh, I missed it. How'd we look? KPJ and Wood both injured?! Time to deep dive through highlights.

How is Wood in the way of developing rookies? Our rookies Green/Sengun are getting a decent amount of time to play and develop and only Theis is taking away Senguns minutes at times. Which other rookies do you think are not getting enough time to develop because of Wood?

And I do not think any team thinks Wood is a max contract player including the Rockets or they are surrounding the team around him. If that was the case Rockets would have simply not tanked for lottery picks and would have got some stars for Harden instead of a complete rebuild. He is a serviceable and unselfish C/PF that plays well with other players including our rookies and he is only 26 years old which is still young in its own right. You make it sound like Wood only got 1-2 years left in him.

 

Im going to be nice but this is kind of a stupid question. How is he in the way? Well SIlas wont play them together so if you want to see Sengun the All Star there cant be a Wood. I swear I hate having to point out common sense on here. You said "decent" time you didnt say great which means you yourself know Sengun isnt getting enough time. Wood is less effective with another big man and again Silas wont play them together much so we dont know if its the same with Sengun as it is with Theis. You also now have Tate emerging and Tate is a much cheaper option than Wood. Theis hasnt played in the last 3 games prior to this one and Sengun still got limited minutes. So please stop making up narratives and just tell the truth about the situation. We have who we have as coach he doesnt want to play Sengun much regardless and the only way is if he had no choice. That means No Wood, not to mention the best player in the draft may be a center. What happens if we still have Wood are we still gonna draft this young man eventhough Sengun cant even get minutes now? Ask yourself these questions and let me know what you come up with.

 

I still remember coaches praising Tate as a rookie in training camp.
