Any reason to post that here? Last few pages' posts are solid and you just have to spoil it.

Spiegel makes 3 posts in threads when the Rockets win. Makes 50 posts in Lin threads when Rockets lose or when Rockets win and Lin does not play well. Your posts here as as predictable as Royce White's DNP.

do you even understand basketball? the moment you see double team you kick the ball out and let the ball rotate. what do you mean by keeping dribble alive? dribble into double team?

the result would be very different with parsons on the court. he would have guarded durant much better (he suffocated melo in the knicks game) and knock down some threes to keep thunder's defense honest

i think our team deserves credit as this is not a blowout loss against the best team in the NBA, and after such a intense schedule

completely agree. with parsons hustle and length, he would have slowed down durant considerably

Why do you think I am Asian? Because I can read and write past first grade? Not that there is anything wrong with being Asian. Some of my best friends are Asians. :)

Lastly, you preaching objectivity is like Kardashians advocating celibacy, not in our lifetime.

another good thing is lin didn't show signs of regression after two good games. he is more confident on the court which is reflected in some good fast breaks he ran.

LOL look at all the chicken littles here. This isn't a real game, it's pretty much like when NYC thumped Miami by 20 pts, it's clear the team's heart wasn't in it.

    1) Fatigue
-these guys were playing 3 in a row, against a well prepared, rested and motivated OKC team.

    2) Emotionally drained
-team just came from funeral and didn't get any sleep. Harden was obviously still slightly bitter about being traded from OKC, I think a large part of him regrets how things shook out, I think both him and KD were really close.

    3) Parsons
Parsons is as integral to our team as Asik and Harden, if he was there KD wouldn't have gone off as much.

At the end of the day, we're still the youngest team in the league, and OKC went to the Finals last year. So yeah, this is pretty much expected.

I wasn't expecting much from this game, but I didn't expect to stop my online feed to the game around the 2nd quarter because of isolation. Isolating Lin, I saw too many plays where he doesn't even touch the ball. More hero ball, more losses.

I consider this game as a fluke since most teams don't end up in 3 cites in one day. Moving on to the next one.

    Not looking good.

This game showed rockets still have a long way to go this season.

I smell 20+ TOs/game, incoherent team play, one-on-one iso ball, Asik shooting <40%, Gasol holding his knees on every play, Harden getting blocked 3 times a game, Parsons leaving once his contract is over, and clutchfans crying for Matt Maloney and Rafer to come back.

An interesting quote by Kevin Durant to put last night's game in perspective...

    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/durant-thunder-too-much-road-weary-rockets

In other words, the ENTIRE OKC defense was designed around one concept... double/triple team Harden and Lin so that they had to pass out and make the REST of the team beat them.

Lin has said many times that he simply likes to "take what the defense gives you". The OKC defense gave him a 4 on 3 mismatch whenever they moved to double, so he passed out and TRUSTED his team mates to either make an open look, or to make the smart pass for an open look.

This is why Patterson, Asik and Cook took so many shots. Once OKC commits to the double on Harden and/or Lin, it leaves them with most wide open shots or easy runs at the rim.

It just happens that without Parsons, the rest of the players on the floor didn't have enough scoring punch to keep up, or enough defensive punch to slow down OKC.
