OK, for the season his FG % is .374 . I agree with you on Lin picking up his dribble too often. He had a nice nice run in NY, but he's no savior.

An in-and-out 3 is not a "brick". His 2nd shot was at the buzzer and was contested.

This smells like a LOF post. There were a lot of times where Harden passed the ball and someone like Dequan Cook threw up a horrible shot.. it goes both ways.

As I said before, they were doubling the ball handler on every P&R. Both Lin and Harden had 3 TO's, the Rockets as a team need to come up with better offensive schemes to combat this. This is a coaching issues. There needs to be less Harden iso's, and more plays to get him open off of screens and such.

Harden was getting double-teamed, and hardly got any screens. (If I fault Harden for anything, it's failing to pass quickly to the open man off the double team.)

The screens actually improved in the 3rd quarter, but when the Thunder built that lead, it was during the stretch where the screens were absent, bad shots were taken, and Thunder fast breaks ensued.

The real killer, aside from Asik being gassed due to the back-to-back, was Parsons' absence.... He is the one guy who could have made Durant work harder for his points, and his perimeter game would have moved the Thunder forwards away from the basket which would have cut down the blocked shots.

It's the coach's job to design the plays.
You run certain % of plays like iso off your key player like Harden, but you have to keep the % lower than the other set plays.
Hell.. half or more the plays called are Harden iso.
He is a good ball player, but the coach has to make some play calling adjustment in the game.

Also, I agree with most people on here. JLin needs to be more aggressive on the offensive side of the ball. His job is to facilitate but when people are struggling, you have to take the game into your own hands sometimes and it will become contagious.

He isn't playing bad. He has had some bad games this season, but who hasn't. Your posts are making it seem like he isn't contributing anything to the team lol.
That my friend is Toney Douglas at the moment.

I'm not mad that Toney is bad. I'm mad that he's bad and doesn't know about it.

ok we lose this game, but come on guys. we aren't the same level with this OKC.. look at us, young and dangerous team. give them a break ok... if u really fans. stop whining and keep supporting. After lost against title contender. We won't be winning championship in 3 years, if we are in play offs this year. I would be very grateful

Trust me, I desperately want Lin to succeed. I'm just calling it as I see it. Outside of the first couple of games, I have not been terribly impressed with Lin's skill package & his decision making. That's all. The Rocket that I have been most impressed with is Asik.

lol you are defending a player who has routinely air mailed 3 point shots. One that comes to my mind is vs Miami.

I have also watched every game. He was definitely a more willing passer in OKC. But then again he had Serge Ibaka finishing at the rim, and Kevin Durant. I agree that tonight he tried to do a little too much, but in most games this year he's been more than willing to pass the ball. He'll learn.

HAHAHA, yea TD is much worse than Lin. I was hoping for more from Lin, that's all.

Sigh, I miss Dragic and Lowry. We REALLY could have used Dragic's 3-7 10 points 1 assist tonight or Lowry's 3-10 12 points 4 assits. Would have complemented Harden's play much better this game. :(

I think Serge Ibaka is a huge reason for why Harden played so poorly tonight. He had himself a superstar game with his blocks, but what people aren't noticing is that with his quickness and length he was able to trap Harden way out on the perimeter and still get back to challenge the paint.

I felt we played hard the entire game till the final 3 mins. The starters were exhausted and clearly will be better after a day off. Coaching was below average but Phil Jackson could not have coached this team to a win today. The Thunder were playing at a very high level and while I cant say Harden & Co kept it close they at least showed no quit either. On to the net one.
With Parsons this would have still been a 10 pt loss

It worked quite well for them. Without Parsons, we have one less player who can handle pressure. Really missed him today.

Cook is like Felton tonight trying to prove a point. He put up 17 shots. Fortunately, we won't see too much of him when Parsons comes back.

Ibaka killed us tonight. 11 for 13 with 9 boards. Are you kidding me.

I like how our team handled adversity tonight. This is a young team that will get better in a couple of years.

Harden can make play as well as Lin, if not better. BUT BUT BUT since we don't have two Harden's, Lin has to be the playmaker and Harden the scorer. Harden can't play two roles at the same time. Lin makes better decisions than Harden.

And Toney's decision making is terrible.

In other news, I heard Derek Fisher is very close to signing. I hope it's not us. Given his age, it's probably the Knicks lol...

the only thing bothers me is that it seems we are going to barely miss the playoffs this year....
