Martin's game has always been drive and flail clownshoes after baiting defenders with that quick release. A lot of his efficiency came from getting to the line, and a lot of his getting to the line came from flopping and overselling contact.

On the one hand, that player is actively involved in gamesmanship of the rules and working the officials to try to get an advantage, and as a fan of a team, you have to appreciate that added commitment to winning. On the other hand, it's phony and inauthentic and made the Rockets look like a bunch of whistle-seeking sissies with no respect for the game. Players like Martin were sort of an obvious yardstick for how out of control flopping was getting in the league.

It's easier to be more objective about this now that he's no longer a Rocket, that's for sure.

We beat them in their house last year when they had Harden. Now that we have him it should be a cake walk.

Honestly, I'd be surprised with a win. They're going to be tired and a step slow. How are they supposed to prepare for this game when they played last night and have a funeral to attend?

We should win this. But Patterson isn't going to have a hot night. He is still a soft that will get intimidated by just looking at Perkin's ugly face. Close game, just depends what team gets the most rebounds.

Likely to be the case. At best, I hope the Rockets can keep him out of the paint, Lin stays on him on cuts, and Westbrook is forced to shoot jumpers all day.

Just let Wessy shoot. Id go under and just challenge aggressively. Hope he gets hot early and just starts gunning trying to prove a point.

Better than him going to the hole.

Pretty much. The only person that can stop Wessy is Wessy himself. I would just love to get a win tonight. Individual matchups are irrelevant & people salivating over them need to relax. Rockets win, that's my focus.

I do worry about KMart. If he's motivated, and he will be, he's perfectly capable of going off against our starters. If he plays against our bench, it will be murder. I have a hard time seeing how we can win, especially since our guys will have no legs.

Never been a fan of Kmart.....dude might be an efficient scorer but he is deficient in almost everyother facet of the game.
