Won't be pretty, OKC has everything we want....

A superstar that can score when the game is on the line.
A PG that is not undersized and can run the offense, score and play D.
Athletic F that can score and play D.
Athletic bigs that control the paint and swats shots, while being able to finish strong at the other end.
    Instant firepower off the bench.

AND they are all young, not fair!!!!

And they put it together in a relatively short time. The Rockets can find their butt with both hands in fifteen years.

We went from a team that was bad enough to get the #1 pick in Yao to a championship contender with 2 stars in Yao and T-mac in a few years. They just couldn't stay healthy, or we would have had a championship or two already. The Thunder would be in our situation right now too if Durant and Westbrook kept getting injured.

Wesbrook is playing at an all-star level right now. He is at the same level as Steve Francis was during his prime in Houston and Orlando. 22 ppg, 7.5 ast, and 6 rbg.

The only thing that Prime-Francis had over him was 3-point shooting. But I would argue that Westbrook does everything else a little better.

Bottom line: Look out for Westbrook, he is the real deal.

    Double digit loss....15 +

    More kneejerk threads to come.

No way OKC will lose to a team with a record like ours :(

He doesn't suck, but he's another victim of people on this website overvaluing our players. Many people believed that he was better than Ariza and some are still convinced that he's the superior player when he's not.

More expensive calculators and better math equations?

In all seriousness, Houston has had more than its fair share of injury problems. Nevertheless, you can't keep using injuries as an excuse. Both JVG (ex Knicks) and Adelman (ex Kings) have had a penchant for bringing in their type of guys. Also, OKC has not traded lottery picks for role players. They acquired their role players like Sefeloosha by trading away a low 1st round pick that they had acquired in the past. They haven't been afraid to draft based on athleticism and potential (See Westbrook and Ibaka). Similar to the Rockets, they've made some shrewd moves. They were also lucky in the sense that they acquired a franchise player in the draft.
