First of all, gems slip by us all the time. They do to every team. Second of all, let's not over-react. Luther's been playing badly, but he's still got potential. He needs to dunk instead of laying it up. And he needs to just shoot. I don't care if he misses, no pump fake shiet.

I loved reading the one post saying That the Rockets have not done anything in the past several years to be an "Elite team" which I agree with..but.....hm....I guess the Suns have won many championships the past couple of years..or wait..have they made it to one?
Actually I think they were right about most things they were writing... sure from a suns perspective, but the Rockets still shouldn`t be considered a contender without Yao, and the Suns are the favorite for this game (since they are going in rested). This game will show, if Deke can keep Shaq and Amare out of the post, and if Scola or Landry can guard Amare. If they can, and if we can contain Nash, we should be alright, but Amare was an absolute monster the last games. The one thing that could really put us ahead of the Suns is their defense. Neither Nash nor Amare is playing good defense, Shaq is getting a little slow and won`t be in the game for much longer than 30 minutes, Barbosa is small and Raja hurt. So if we can stop their transition baskets and stop their inside game, and at least 3 of our offensive guys have a good night, we should be alright.

only read the first few posts but they didn't seem outer worldly. despite the 22 win streak, 12 with Yao & 10 without him, this team sans #11 won't garner much national elite consideration. having seen us catch lightening in a bottle before, personally, i don't scoff at our chances. just don't expect that other fans will be as optimistic. fine print 'cause i ain't rubbing it in, the Suns have advanced beyond 1st round ...
Why is the Rockets @ Suns game not listed on NBA League Pass or on FSH (639 Directv) etc? Doesn't look like I'll be able to watch it. Strange.. I live outside the Houston market area and don't get any of the local channels. Is that what it is on? Don't know why the leauge pass doesn't seem to be carrying this game.
