The question is, why does JVG refuse to play him? I highly doubt we will see Kirk in the game today. I just don't understand the unwillingness to make adjustments as needed. Tis baffling.
The type of game T-Mac is playing does not need Yao to be on the court. He has been just looking for his own long jumper and no way Yao will be able to pull down that kind of rebounds after he misses. One play really frustrates me was when Yao came out to set the high screen for T-Mac and T-Mac just passed the ball away. What the heck was he thinking? Yao definitely looks very tired and worried today. He has been rushing his shots and not in a rymthm at all. Considering this is his 1st b2b game since coming back, T-Mac has to stand up for us to have a chance.
I agree, vspan should be playing. Rafer absolutely blows. Shame on JVG for leaving our best pg on the bench.
I think putting in Vspan as mentioned earlier would be good for defense, but his ability to turn the safest possession into a turnover would kill us against a team like Phoenix
hmm, i just remember reading a couple of Phoenix threads and more than a handful of people were saying we would match well with them.
When Yao gets the ball he is being double team someone needs to cut the hoop or spot up for shot. The Suns are not going to allow Yao to get going one on one. The Rocket's shooters need to step up.
You could bring him in to play D on Barbosa and Nash and keep Alston in or make T-mac the primary ball handler. The Rox are getting outhustled right now and the Suns are having their way. V-Span is turnover prone but he brings D and energy. Two things the Rox are sorely lacking at the moment.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see Kirk... remember that one game with Phoenix? JVG through everyone and the kitchen sink into the game. hell.. I think even Novak played.
we need keep the game tight in the 3rd..... This should be our quarter... YAO need fight for the positions
by getting more playing time Spans turnovers would get down pretty fast he just needs to find his rhythm
He has been trying but obvious he is tired. After he got into the position, there was not that much left for him to shoot the ball. That is why he missed left and right.
