    He was shouting AS's name.
He was about to pass out (seriously) at that moment, when AS was already in the paint waiting for the pass. Yao was calling his teammates to cover for him.

Can anyone reup the R2K highlights on yousendit? All the links are dried up or are broken. Can't use BT here, so I appreciate the help! I will repay the favor and reup it. I have to see what everyone is talking about.

The b****fest from Amare after one game of not getting 'questionable' calls just illustrates the normal treatment he gets. Yao has put up with worse for almost 3 seasons and is used to it. Amare has one game where things don't go his way and loses his mind. Very telling indeed.

    4 words for you...

    AWESOME ROCKETS TRANSITION DEFENSE

just goes to show you....that a good defense can stop even the best run and gun team...that is why we will do well in the playoffs...this team is being taught how to win in the playoffs before the playoffs even begin so that when we get there...we will already be ready to kick ass and take names.

Amen again! Amazing, simply amazing. Loved how Yao played. Hell, loved how everyone played. You expect Tracy to go off like that, but Yao really showed us something.

    Keep it going, guys!

    And awesome highlights, R2K. Thanks!
(I need to figure some of this technical stuff out)

R2K, thanks a lot for the video. It means a lot to fans who don't live in Houston and miss a lot of games.

    Post-Game Quotes

    Posted: March 11, 2005

SUNS HEAD COACH MIKE D’ANTONI: “We didn’t play a smart game. We just kept forcing the issue instead of playing basketball. Houston played well. Tracy McGrady hit all the big shots when we were struggling with our identity. They won the game. Now we have to get ready for the game on Sunday (@ Denver).”

    (On Shawn Marion)
“We missed Shawn and his athleticism. We also missed the 10 to 15 rebounds that he gets a night. Shawn Marion gives us the ability to play small yet have a good rebounder in the game. He is important to us and we know that, but tonight it was pointed out a bit more. This is a game that we didn’t want to give away”

    (On Tracy McGrady)
“Tracy McGrady did a good job of putting the dagger in when we were struggling. He just didn’t miss anything. He is just that type of player.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUNS FORWARD QUENTIN RICHARDSON (11 pts, 9 rebs):
“Obviously it is very disappointing. This is a game that we felt we should have won on our home court. They played like they were the better team tonight. You know the hungrier the team, the team that plays the hardest and does the right things down the stretch goes on to win the game.”

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUNS FORWARD/CENTER AMARE STOUDEMIRE (31 pts, 10 rebs): “They went to the line a lot in the fourth quarter. Tracy McGrady struck a match off that screen and roll. It was a tough coverage tonight.

“We normally knock down our shots and play hard the whole game. It is an up tempo game, some of the shots weren’t falling that normally fall. I got to tip my hat off to the Rockets they came out and played great, they had a good strategy and they got the win.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUNS GUARD STEVE NASH (10 pts, 10 asts): “We kept getting in there and drawing a crowd inside and we didn’t do a good job of kicking the ball back out to some of our open shooters. It really got Yao into the game. I think it helped his offense and his confidence. This is a lesson to be learned.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ROCKETS HEAD COACH JEFF VAN GUNDY: “We all did a much better job in the fourth quarter. They’re a hard team to guard. Stoudemire is a hard match up, but I thought in the fourth quarter we did a good job defending. Some of it is intensity. Some of it is them missing Marion. You can never overlook injuries as a factor in a game. But we’ve had our share, too.

"They have advantages with quickness in Stoudemire and we have advantages in size and strength and I thought Yao’s size and strength were the telling factor in the fourth quarter.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ROCKETS CENTER YAO MING (27 pts, 22 rebs): “It was a good feeling with time running down and we were ahead by close to 20 points. They’re a great offensive team and I don’t think we can play any better defensively than we did at the end of the game. And to have a guy like Tracy McGrady who’s such a great scorer…when they go out to double team him and it can open up the middle.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ROCKETS FORWARD TRACY McGRADY (38 pts, 9 rebs): “This is a big win for us. This team is a high-powered offense. For us to hold them to 17 points in the fourth quarter shows how good a defensive team we can be. I’ve got to tip my hat to my big fella tonight. I just hope he continues to play that way…27 and 22…that’s huge! There was nothing soft about Yao tonight. He played his butt off offensively and defensively. There isn’t too many players that can stay with him when he plays that way.”
