he's way more consistent than Franchise. He has no problem to get 30 in a bad night.

Amare clearly has a sense of inferiority (sp?) when it comes to Yao. They were both drafted in the same year. Yao has gotten all the media attention, the endorsements, and all the love.

he feels that he has to show Yao up every chance, on the court or in the media. it shows that he is a immature punk, a althletic immature punk, but a punk nonetheless.

i'm glad Yao owned his azz lastnite. I would take Yao Ming over amare if we had to do the draft again, since they both have potention but Yao has more and is a mature and classy guy a team can be proud of.

Why does a guy like amare has to diss Yao every chance when Yao has said nothing but positve things about amare? inferiority

R2K, I want to have your baby, and considering my participation in the dubiously titled "The Coming of Yao" thread, you should be slightly flattered

I watched the game agian on Tivo. Now let's not focus on the W for a moment. What I really like last night's game was that we were down by 14 in late 3rd. We didnt loose our cool after that, stuck to the game play, revolve around Tmac for offense and went for the boards hard. On the defensive, we put extra intensity to frustrate the Suns. When we were up in the 4th, the Suns were in the same situation as we did in the 3rd. They lost their minds, not only Amare but also their floor general Nash. They forced their shots, expected to outscore Houston to get back, while let loose on the defensive end. All our buckets came from well executed plays. This is the difference right there. We might not have as many talents as Suns or Sonics has, but we play TEAM ball. Now this we have to give JVG and CD some credit.

Thanks for the clips as always, 2k. Someday the board is gonna have to pitch in and buy you a few choice nugs.

Favorite part of last night's game. After Yao slams it over McCarty, he runs back in transition, points outward and says something I can't yet make out. The emperor leading his men to victory!
