    Recap from NBA.com

    Link

PHOENIX (Ticker) -- A pair of All-Stars helped the Houston Rockets hand the Phoenix Suns their worst home loss of the season.

Tracy McGrady scored 38 points and Yao Ming added 27 and a career-high 22 rebounds as the Rockets halted the Suns' four-game winning streak with a 127-107 rout.

Phoenix's largest loss at America West Arena this season had been a nine-point setback to Memphis on January 19.

With the game tied, 60-60, at the break, Phoenix opened the third quarter with a 21-7 run to take an 81-67 lead with 6:09 to go.

Houston fought back to move ahead, 91-90, with 10:25 to go on a 3-pointer by Mike James. But the big push came less than two minutes later as the Rockets erased a 96-95 deficit with 14 consecutive points, including five by McGrady.

McGrady collected nine rebounds and David Wesley scored 20 points for surging Houston, which has won three straight and four of five.

Amare Stoudemire had 31 points and 10 boards and Walter McCarty scored a season-high 20 points for Phoenix, which had won the previous four meetings with Houston.

True. Bowen is definitely going to be an asset if we have to play Suns. But uhh..sooner or later..Suns will figure out to not guard Ryan Bowen lol. But him at PF isn't that bad if they want to go with their tiny lineup.
But Q. Rich is a little hurt..when he heals..man he's crazy. It's like an effect..if Nash does good..then Q. Rich and Joe Johnson do good..then Amare does good..then JJ and McCarty do good..then Steven Hunter does good. They are really explosvie.
But really I think Yao can guard Amare. And I think Yao can score on anyone they have.

Wesley is definitely a good perimeter defender. Jon Barry plays smart and manages to do well I loveh im..and Ryan Bowen just great. Just let Sura guard off man and make sure we get defensive rebounds. Marion will run around and go crazy..Suns really can't guard Howard either..Juwan can do good too.
Whenever we play them..we have to manage minutes..so that Yao doesn't get too tired. But wow if we prepare and get pumped..wow McGrayd made some amazingly tough impossibletomake shots.

Sonics..Yao owns them. We just need to have perimeter defense. Wow..Ryan Bowen is like an MVP..valuable asset to play defense on them. I love it.

Yeah, the other part of that adjustment was putting in James to fight through the picks and dog Nash.

Enormous win! We beat them very comprehensively on their court. Marion would have helped but we were much better than them tonight.
I never thought that Yao would grab 22 rebounds and get 5 blocks although I'm not at all surprised that he got 27 points. If he can score and rebound more often then it will be very difficult to stop us.
Everyone did well and Sura will get better as he gets in game shape.
If we develop consistency free agents will love to play along with Yao and T-Mac.
I'm really excited with the direction we are going in.

All I want is a chance to walk up to Mike D'Antoni and ask him if he still thinks "someone" does not deserve to be on the All Star team.

D'Antoni and Amare are haters and a jealous pair. The performance by Yao tonight will dig them deeper in inferiority complex.

That was an awesome photo. Although technically, the backboard blocked that one.

Yeah, but he wasn't going to be any hotter than Walter McCarty, his replacement for all practicle purposes -- it was a wash.

That first recap had some funny errors. Jim Jackson and Jim Johnson? I know Jim Jackson, but Jim Johnson? I also liked how it was a 'furious dual' between Stoudamire and McGrady rather than a furious duel.

who cares about barkley and let him enjoy being compared to a whale

    http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/3079678

Finally, what do Shamu the Killer Whale and Charles Barkley have in common? Well, yes, there's that, but there's more. Turner Sports has signed a deal with Southwest Airlines to display Chuckster, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson Jr. on a plane next month. Barkley will join Sea World star Shamu as the only endomorphic mammals so honored.
