Great game! Great win! With Yao and TMac taking games over like they have lately, we are almost unstoppable.

Can't wait for the highlights to come up. :)

after the sonics game i said we may have a chance to get a 3/1 road trip, now it seem like this prediction is a little conservative

I've calmed down so I'll give my take on the game...

Yao ABSOLUTELY dominated tonight. The three-in-a-row altered shots on Amare, his unbelievable hustle on the glass, his 5 blocked shots. Good GOD that was great.

You know what impressed me about him the most? He played most of the third and all of the fourth quarter. His stamina is skyrocketing. On top of that, his high energy play at the end of the fourth quarter showed that he still had plenty in him even after all that time on the floor.

Tracy was completely on FIRE. He singlehandedly kept the Rockets in the game when they were down and was simply amazing. His outside shooting was nothing short of spectacular. Hell, he almost had a triple double.

The rest of the team was equally impressive. Wesley had a quiet 20 points but he really sparked the team in the first quarter.

If the Rockets play like this every night, then they are the best team in the league. No ifs ands or buts about it. They outplayed the Suns at their own game and on their own court.

Everyone talks about the Rockets defense but their offense is becoming elite.

    I LOVE THIS TEAM.

Guys, Suns only got 9 points on fast breaks.

    What a 4th quarter.

I tell you, with Tmac and Yao coming together and with our STRONG bench -- this team could be scary in the playoffs. Damn, what a great win.

I thought the last game was our biggest win, but now . . .

I've got only one thing to say about this win:

Tonight is the night the Houston Rockets officially arrived as a legitimate NBA championship contender

    Date: March 11, 2005
    Game: at Phoenix Suns

We cant let the win get to us, cause we still need to focus on the remaining games. This win will serve no purpose if we lose to golden state.

I think so too. Goes back to his rookie year, a lot of what he said back then showed the jealousy towards Yao. Even this year, which is obviously a fantastic year for Amare, I believe it still gets to him. It's the competitive spirit coupled with the jealousy of Yao that forces him to take so many bad shots.

I am still shocked at Yao's performance. Amazing... I don't think I would have rather him had this showing against any other team.

Our great defense showed up again! 41:17 in 4th quarter! I just can't beleive my eyes! Not having dinner yet, so I will have some beers to celebrate the biggest win against the top 1 team! Go Rockets!

I can't wait any longer for Sunday's game against Queens! Another winning streak is coming! :D

I bet the Suns and their papers will use Shawn Marion's absence as an excuse for this butt whipping.

that was a great game..i hoped before that we would win..but really didn't think we would. i was really nervous cuz i really wanted rockets to win lol.
and wow YAO outstanding performance. Tmac wow was definitely prepared. Ryan Bowen was MVP...he stopped them. He's a great defender. Jon Barry and Mike James..definitely great backups..Sura did all right.

Nash..I thought he should have bee nmore aggressive and taken more shots..for himself.
Amare..I'm sorry..you scored a lot..that's true..but man you got owned by Yao. You travel like on every play too. Luckily refs don't call it...and wow you've improved your free throw shooting.
McCarty shot very well tonight..started missing...well cuz he was jacking them up in desperation lol..and some in and out. WHEW
Jimmy Jackson's shot looked good..quicker and swishier..

Where was Marion? I don't know if we could've beat them if they had Marion.

Howard did pretty well when he played as well. Wesley did too. Mutombo and Padgett good.

Really amazing great win. I'm happy lol

We can beat the Kings now! They don't have Mr. Cwebb..guy who always screws Rockets over lol. ..Well Kenny Thomas does well against us too.

Great fantastic awesome game. I hope no one gets injured. I love Ryan Bowen!!! I seriously think we're contenders..if Yao can play like this every night..and get some calls favoring him..and wow yeah..and Tmac crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy TRUE SUPERSTAR....and our role players are excellent..thank you CD. And JVG did good job tonight too.
lol I'll shut up but really great win.
I really dislike the Suns. :) Nash is cool..Barbosa is too..but ugh they're so good I'm glad we beat them.

Is 22board a career high for Yao and do you think he finally gain the respect he need from the refs?

I am sure R2K is going to cry out of joy when he makes the highlight video. I know I will. :D
btw, Shawn Marion didn't play. I am sure that's one thing the sports analyst are gonna diss us about.

I guess Drewdog is a fortuneteller cuz we made Phoenix look like a girls highschool basketball team tonight. haha j/k... well, to their credit, they were without one of their allstars Shawn Marion.

In a Slam magazine I have at home from last year, Amare said his most memorable moment of his rookie year was seeing Yao fall trying to cover Marbury. Not his first time on the court, or his first NBA hoop, nor the moment he got the ROY trophy. His most memorable moment was seeing Yao fall, thats all you need to know about his mentality against yao
