Oh no, you 100% did. Because your response made absolutely zero sense in the context to my comment.

It's ok it's just a bad day for you.

28 shots for 34 points isn't the problem hahahah.

Well, I'm not hanging around to find out. I've got better things to do with my time than watch a team that's not even going to make the play-in, especially when they are going to make the experience this frustrating.

Jalen should have sat out so we could have enjoyed the customary 20+ point drubbing!

    "Jalen is the problem" LOL

Nowhere did I say a team of Fred VanVleet, Tari Eason, Aaron Holiday and JaeSean Tate would beat a team of Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., and two from the group of Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green, Cam Whitmore and Amen Thompson.

The point is that when only one significant rotation player has a positive on/off rating for the season, the Rockets are not ready to be a playoff team, yet, and some fans’ expectations need to be dialed back. They simply do not have the upper tier talent the playoff teams in the Western Conference have right now.

Also, of the three bench players with a positive on/off rating in their minutes, the only one worth starting alongside VanVleet is a healthy Tari Eason. That’s because Eason is one of the best defensive players in the entire NBA.

Last night? No clue, it's a one game sample size and taking out the dude who took 28 shots massively changes the entire offense.

Moving forward? Less than if he does play.

Ok then Im talking about last night. You guys can keep running around with your hair on fire, but its quite literally a game by game eval with the entirety of this team. Nobody on this roster is moving the needle regardless of the stats arguments.

Let’ compare apples vs. apples though. Eason needs to play more than 22 games to-even BEGIN to think about being one of the best defensive players in the NBA. Injuries happen but that is a LONG hiatus for a lower leg injury. He has huge potential though…gotta be on the court to show it though. Really strange injury to not be ACL or something
    structural.

Agree with dialing back expectations…we certainly have very good talent…not enough of it ..and it is YOUNG. Can’t overstate the age and experience factor IMO. We are missing a SG and backup center… we’ll have the Center next year with Adams. Need a SG… LIKE one of the KY guards.

I agree that Eason needs a larger sample size before we can confidently declare him one of the top 5 or 10 defenders in the NBA. However, he was also one of the most impactful defenders in college basketball at LSU, so I’m inclined to believe that is who he is. As long as this injury doesn’t negatively impact his athleticism and mobility, that is.

I also agree with you that the Rockets are missing a reliable backup center and shooting guard this season. Like you said, Adams will fill the center role next season, and as shooting guard goes, it either happens with a rookie or someone like Whitmore, or the Rockets use Jalen Green and picks to trade for a good shooting guard/small forward like Mikal Bridges.
