We actually got better shots tonight (so far) than we did against the Clippers... we're getting our types of shots, we're just not making them. Its our defense that has to improve... and it can help to create fast-break opportunities.

Man, we just haven't been able to match up with these quick, fast teams forever now. How many years have we been having problems with teams that play like the Suns/Kings/Dallas? The problem on defense is that our D is built around the concept of forcing teams to take that outside shot, meaning that we back away from the shooters and give them enough room to shoot, which with a team like the Suns means we're going to get killed. Not to mention their ball movement makes it impossible to cover everyone, someone has to be open.
Stromile is getting all kinds of shots in the paint... but its his athleticism that allows him to catch the lobs that are thrown into him. Yao, unfortunately, can't do this same thing against a more aggressive/scrappier defense.
