i'll be able to watch the 2nd half of the game yay! hopefully i'll be a bad luck charm for the suns and they'll lose their 2nd half lead much like the last game. the last two suns games i saw were the two from last year where the rockets won the game in the 2nd half.
This is the funniest thing, I went over on the phxsuns.net message board to see what they had to say about the game tonight and MOST of their posts are what we're saying here on this board. I guess they have to fill their pathetic little board with SOMETHING considering they have like less than 1/10 of the people over there than we do...LOL, lot of hate over there too, "houston fans are the most pathetic, ignorant, blah, blah, blah," I guess they're still feeling the effects of Elie for THREEEE! Let it go haters, let it go. Go Rockets!!
Mr. Meowgi, I've seen your sig a million times, but now I have to know, what does this mean? "Nothing, no entity, has its own being." ??? Or is it a case of, "if you have to ask"...?
Rox are going to have to swing the ball quickly to the open man with Yao being doubled like that, hope our shots are dropping.
I would expect this to be the game that Swift and Hayes get significant minutes. We've already started out not taking advantage of the double team on Yao. Too much dribbling, not enough movement, and too many outside jumpers.
OK, no one I guess is going to play defense out there, the Suns have excellent ball movement that's creating wide open shots for them, and of course Nash penetrating at well... This might be a loooong night, hope Rox don't lay an egg and at least compete.
omg this is so tight. i'm watching it on ppstream from school. i was planning on putting on sportsradio610 audio stream so that i could listen to that [in English] while watching the game, but there's some problem with their audiostream. the consolation is that we get to listen to phoenix suns radio at http://www.ktar.com/ - just click where it says 'listen live.' the sorry part/cool part [depending on how you look at it] is that the audio is like 1 minute ahead, so it's not in sync. it's also kinda cool in that if there's some amazing play, we get a heads-up from the commentators and get to pay attention and catch the play. hope this helps.
Yao needs to learn that when teams double him, it can definitely be to our advantage. He tends to start playing a little passive, and tries "not to make mistakes", rather than have the mentality to exploit the defense being played. They can't guard him one-on-one, and with his passing ability, we should be burning them for choosing to do this. This is also why Yao tends to play better against traditional center-based teams, rather than teams like Phoenix, Memphis, or any other small/scrappy bunch.
we gotta get Yao involved here.. other Rockets seems hesitate to pass Yao the ball.. that's what the suns want.. they want to keep Yao out of this game... we can't do what they want us to do.. >_<
