But Yao passing out for open shots is the best way to beat triple teams. It is way too crowded in the paint and they are quick to deflect a lot of passes into the lane.

i agree man. i admit we havent hit our shots, i dont think that means we stop defendin the 3 against a team that shoots it so well.

someone get jvg a jolly rancher.

That's another thing about Yao tonight, his passes out of the double teams are horrible. The dude is tall as hell and getting the passes tipped by guys 1.5 feet shorter than him and some of the passes are plain not on target, our guys can't get set and when they move to get the poorly thrown pass it allows the quick Suns players to man up on them. They've made Yao a complete none factor in this game and that's a HUGE reason why we're losing...it's like we're not even playing with him.
And excuse me, but the double teams are no excuse for 0 rebounds and 0 blocks. WTF is up with that. Just sit the big guy down, he clearly hasn't brought it tonight.

I want to, but everything we've seen from the Rockets in the first half points in exactly the opposite direction...

Why am I getting the feeling watching this game that the Rox were caught off-guard and are in 'shock-mode' with how Pheonix is playing? Did they not know that the Suns are high-octane all the time?

This team has no heart or leaders. JVG doesn't know what the hell he is doing and David Wesley looks wors than a high school player.

I lot of people think this, but isn't a Yao 8 foot jumper over a guy 1 foot shorter than him a better shot than a long 3?

TNT just showed 3 replays. Rockets had more than one guy wide open at 3 point line on each possesion, but the players chose to go 1 against 3 inside.

exactly, JVG should have seen this coming a long way...this is all about the style, and we need to change styles or change to a coach that can.

what happened to the pop and pass to a player cutting to the basket that worked so well the last few games? As soon as the ball get's to Yao... everyone starts cutting over to him.. and he just holds the ball until he is swarmed...
