We always have problems against the Suns. I had a funny feeling after that Clippers game we would come out flat.But what really pisses me off is the Suns played last night and we had a day off.
Well, Raja Bell basically just spelled out what they're trying to do: expose Yao's lack of speed and making him a non-factor. Job well-done, Suns. Well, three out of the last four games, right? I thought we would go 2-and-2 at best, I guess they topped my expectation. All I ask is to not be completely embarassed on TNT...just keep it under 20, please?!
Yao is not the problem. Suns double triple teamed Yao from the begining and never stopped doing it because we have not been able to make open shots! Had our guys shot like last game, Yao would get his game going too. I really don't think speed is a problem for Yao so far in this game.
Get Barry and Bowen out of game. Barry couldn't defense. Bowen couldn't score. Let Yao work. Otherwise, forget the whole season.
Heh. The threads of despair begin to spawn again. Too bad we're going to deal with lots of whining for a week.
The sad thing is, Knowing the Rockets and JVG, I actually see this coming. I just wish it could turn out differently.
if yao is getting doubled shouldn't the guards be getting off easier shots. backcourt shooting sucks again.
doug collins pointed out how similar this game was to game 7 against the mavs last year. we can get beat by quicker teams.

I'm sorry but this is all about style of play my friend. We were totally ambushed, totally unprepared. It's like we didn't know they were gonna run it out on us. Our offense was pathetic. We should have play after play set up that gets the ball to Yao deep in the post with all those midgets defending him. Instead, all we got is a simple post up and the triple team on Yao with the Suns playing the passing lane and just waiting in the weeds for the throw out. They know exactly what we are doing and are all over it. I'm sorry, but that's poor coaching. Yeah, their energy is off. Because they know they don't have a chance. The game strategy is way offfffffffffffffffffffffffffff.
