KPap should go into Bruce Lee mode and work on those dribbles. He's a 6'8 playmaker if the stars align correctly.
agreed. we need a playmaker. someone that can create for themself (besides james) would be great, someone who can create for others (besides james) would be great too. so yes, a PG who can do both is ideal... but even without it, we are too small in the middle to compete seriously. one move that i like is TJ/shved/papa/picks for plumlee/jack/filler from nets. hollins is starting plumlee and jack over dwill and lopez which is killing their trade value. tj can play next to lopez. shved and papa strengthen them at the 2/3 spots and allow for their high priced players to return to the lineup.
The problem is that there is no guarantee that Josh Smith will be here next year. So if you trade Jones, there is no back-up PF next year. And Jones is pretty good.
He's a ~85% career shooter who has been hovering around 90% all season. Just settling back to his average.
A funny note: the commentator said that he was told that TJones wouldn't be back until after the ASB. Is he even with the team? Makes me wonder about trades brewing.
Harden is 1 of 5 with a couple of missed free throws and we scored 41 and have an 18 point lead. Team is showing up! Keep it up!
He said they are playing like they don't expect him back. Not that they don't actually expect him back. The exact quote from Allie LaForce was "Coach McHale told us today they have to prepare for life without Dwight Howard. They're not preparing like he's coming back. If he does, it's considered a bonus." Meaning, they are preparing for games differently from how they'd prepare for games if Dwight was coming back.
