Wood has great numbers but his game doesn't equate to winning basketball His defense is horrible. His passing is low IQ, his isolation pick up dribble side step move from the top of the key is usually a brick. Rockets are usually trailing and Wood usually gets his when the opponents defense has relaxed being up 20 I like Wood, but he's definitely not number 1 option material
he just needs a good coaching...what you expect from a player coached by silas? not even lebron neither steph curry were able to win anything with silas
I hope with Ayton that Silas' sees how skinny Wood and Sengun are and think "hmmmm, maybe I might try letting Garuba go in there to see what he can do." Beyond that, hoping for good games from KPJ, Green and Sengun, start building some consistency. Fully expect to get killed, especially with CP3 defending our young ballhandlers and forcing turnovers but as long as we see some good flashes tonight I'll be happy.
LOL When Rockets were on their winning streak last season, it was with Wood averaging almost 30/11. Rockets started getting blown out after Wood injury. Either you've forgotten or you're being ignorant. 20/10 and 39% from 3 is NOT inefficient. Ridiculous take.
KPJ's gyrations and jitterbug movements may come in handy tonight. CP3 is a good defender but those old ligaments may not be able to handle all that pressure
Booker and Green both have big games, as they both play sus defense. Wood will have a big game on the perimeter, as he's trying to show his value for a potential trade. Ayton will dominate the boards with 18 or more boards. KPJ will be given the green light on the 3 with his height advantage against Paul. Question is: will they splash?
