The Rockets' basketball IQ is f*** low!!! Yao hardly missed in the 2nd half. Why stop going to him? What the hell were T-mac and Rafer doing??? Why do they have to take a couple of shots every now and then??? Go to the one with a hot hand!!! Idiots can work that out. T-mac is f*** selfish today.

Suns used the right formula to beat the Rox, same one Minnesota did last night: Let Tracy and Rafer jack'em up again and again...even if Rafer gets hot, like he did in the 3rd, he'll eventually go cold. And tracy - just, whoa. The only reason why it worked for the Suns and not for Minny is because Phx is a much better offensive team.

The Suns took away the Rockets main weapon against there weak interior defense and make them a jump shooting team on tired legs.

Thomas did a decent job against Yao, and we should have forced the issue more by attacking the basket with penatration. That's where a guy like V-span or the infamous Bonzi would make a big difference. Hayes does a great job of cutting to the basket also.

guys stop the whining... We were playing back to back, and against phx who runs most of the game... it is understandable our players get tired in the 4th quarter. Also tmac got injured yesterday, you cant expect a fully loaded tmac after just a halfday rest...

    chill out ppz.

    guys

    we played well

some things need to click right and thats it

I liked JVG having the young guys in in the fourth quarter

he needs to play them more at least until mid season

we will finish 2nd all 3rd in the conference

    no doubt about that

Lets all whine for the guy especially since he's making 20 million this year or whatever he's making. He just needs to play with more confidence. Forget all the pain, the excuses, whatever his problem is. Just play the game and stop acting like a baby. I love the guy and I think he's a great player, but he is a little soft, and if we want to be great, its on his shoulders. He caqnt afford to be soft.

People need to get off all the hating of each player that has a bad night. Don't think Jordan or The Dream himself did not have horrible games throughout their careers. Tmac is a special player and he coming off back problems. As we continue to go through the season you will see his fire again. Yao is still a beast and this was a back-2-back game against a running team.

Tmac will help us win more games than we lose. Count on it.

    Support our players!!

Champs in 2006-2007 .. FOR REAL!!

Phoenix just baits opposing players into taking quick shots so they can run down the other end and score in transition. The don't care if the other team has wide open shots, because they'll get their share of easy shots in transition when the other team shoots quickly. And since most of the Suns can shoot better than their opponents, the more shots they get the bigger the scoring disparity. The way to beat the Suns is to force them to play defense for 20+ seconds each time down the court (unless there is a breakaway dunk) and limit their easy transition baskets.

Firing up 38 three point shots is playing right into the Suns gameplan. Heck, I'll bet D'Antoni specifically tells his team not to contest the 3 point line and encourage the opposing teams to fire away. 14 free throw attempts against the Suns -- a team with no interior defense (w/Amare recovering) is a joke.

That's hilarioius. After being spoon-fed the first basket when Yao was defending the PnR, when Amare thought he could go against Yao (as he always tries), he got stuffed on the next 2 possessions.

It's actually funny. Yao, who was in foul trouble all game because of pathetic calls against him, and who was getting doubled and fronted, scored a grand total of 4 points less than Amare, on a back to back. When Yao was on the court, Amare all but disappeared.

I'll tell you what else is funny too. Amare's stats and/or impact is nowhere near Yao's stats, and a moron like you call him better. That's hilarious actually.

You can add Yao being in foul trouble and playing passive and soft to the list as well.

You can add all the rest of the players missing wide open shots to the list as well.

I think the biggest mistake the Rox made was play McGrady when he's still hurting, not to mention on a back-to-back night. It's better not to play him and therefore have his teammates going in the game ready to play without him and you adjust the gameplan accordingly.

TMac just took too many shoots and he is strugling. He should penetrate more and avoid taking that many bricks.
Rafer is just terrible. He is to inconsistent and he keeps making mistakes and shooting to much.
    Head played average.
Battier is overated. I would rather have Bell or somebody that shows tangibles at the end of the game.
Yao was ok when he was getting the ball inside. When the outside shots don't fall, the defense just has to double team him and he is done.
Novak not good defending and could not get open to get more shots.
VSpan is not a shooting guard and he is being wasted playing at the 2. He is just lost out there. He is good when he is creating and running the fast break.
Hayes to much of a liability offesively. He gets rebounds but he can not really stop anybody defensifely.

One thing about the 38 three pointers...lots of them were open shots.
