That's how. Raja used his experience to draw Baklava in and then created the contact, and Billy was happy to oblige. That's why these guys are rookies, they make too many mistakes/turnovers to be reliable at this point. The "catch-22" is that the only way for them to learn and get better is to get consistent minutes in real games.
I cant stand the Suns either. I was actually rooting for Dallas to take them out last yr. I hate them more than any team, the are the Indianapolis Colts of the NBA, Steve Nash is Peyton Manning, and neither one will ever win it all.
Seems like the Suns have more 1st quarter runs than any other team. The good thing they usually don't keep it up. But unless Yao has a monster game, we don't have much chance to win. I don't think we are ready to play them yet.
Okay 13 pts shy after 1st quarter is manageble. After running together with Suns for a whole quarter, hopefully our players would get tired a bit and start to play slow in the remaining game. There we would have a chance.
Only plus side of this game is JvG playing killBill and Novak right off. I think we all know Reefer is worthless by now. But what is up with McGrady?
We need to slow down the game somehow. We seem to be rushing our shots on offense. If we can pull this game off, it will say more about our team than any of our previous wins this year.
So, to win a championship we're supposed to completely change our style from the ball-control and defense style that's worked for SA and to a lesser extent Miami and become a fast breaking team like the Suns, who have flamed out in the playoffs because teams focus more on defense and stopping the fast break in the postseason. And, oh by the way, it's a system that is completely wrong for arguably our best player. Man, why hasn't anyone else thought of this? Our team, has penetrators, it's just that all the attention Yao gets down low kind of clogs it up for everyone. The style we have will work if the shooters are on.
wow...phx looks like one of the better offensive teams I've seen in a while.....only chance we have against them IMO is yao and tmac at top of his game.......with tmacs shot not falling, tonight could be a long night.
battier might have the greatest body control when going for blocks of anyone i've ever seen, going back to his college days. he made banks commit that off. foul.
