We won this game because we made Nash a scorer, and becasue of the great D we played. I mean to hold the suns under 100 points thats crazy. Yao had a great game, Steve played well and made that big lay up at the end that had me going crazy. Tracy played great, he just didnt shoot that well tonight but he did have 8 rebs and 6 dimes.

Great win again an excellent team on the Road. Coach RA earned his due tonight! I thought he finally figured that he had to play francis for us to have a chance games like we have all been crying for. The coach staff did a great job finding you and getting him open, 12 - 19 shooting was awesome! Yao really wanted to win this game tonight, he was tired of loosing to this team and having sub par games.

Scola is really coming into his element and making high percentage shots. Bonzi is beginning to bother me. He seems uninterested in the game.

Main Concern: TMAC. I know he has had 2 great games before tonight, but I dont know why he settles for these jumpers when they are not falling. I think he scored 4 points in the 2nd half and missed all his jumpers down the stretch. TMAC is mentally weak, and this bothers me. He needs to know when to drive when the shots are not falling and when you can take your defender off the dribble. I guess he is also worried if they put him on the line he might not make it. I am still worried how far TMAC can really take us, especially with decision making and poor free throwing shooting for a star his caliber. He needs to get his act together and show some heart. This team still needs a vocal leader, maybe it will be francis!

Seem Rafer is out of shooting slump. We will be able to tell over the next 3 -4 games, but he played a great game. I think Francis is putting a a lot of pressure on the guards now. Rafer is stepping up to challenge and Francis has already taken luthers minutes, and taking most of James's minutes as well.

overall great win tonight and great defense, we scored a 100 points and really beat the best offesive team in the NBA. Awesome!!!

Is that all Phoenix has?... I'd say they are worse with the loss of Kurt Thomas. It seemed like they were playing undermanned. If they don't make some changes, they will be in trouble after 82 games of running around and Nash getting older. As it stands, the Spurs and even the Mavs have better rounded teams than the Suns, not the mention the Rockets, who were wheeling tonight when it mattered. Very good first quarter, didn't let the Suns run away to start with.

A defining win against a team the Rockets almost never beat.

Yao had a monstrous game, something he rarely does against the Suns.

I thought the Rockets played some of their best defense this season.

Rafer had another good shooting game, BUT, without question Francis was the SPARK that made the difference. He made some timely assists, critical passes, blocks, rebounds, clutch shots. He was HUGE. I love the fire and heart that he brings. AND the team looked good with Francis and Rafer in together. Interesting.

Scola added some clutch minutes, he is rugged, relentless; could be a big difference as the season progresses

The Rockets looked like a team tonight that could beat anybody, and one of the main reasons is BECAUSE ADELMAN CHANGED UP HIS ROTATION, SOMETHING THE MAJORITY OF FANS HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR. He tried different combinations, different substitution patterns. Now he needs to work Head back in and give Synder a chance, plus get a few minutes for Brooks. Use the WHOLE TEAM.

Nevertheless, a very encouraging, uplifting win

Yeah. Steve's two defense play and the clutch drive saved the game. It not only put rox in four point advantage, but also disrupt suns offense flow which is critical to beat suns.

I only catch last 7 minute play but I guess that's the most rewarding period ;-)

I love how Yao took over down the stretch, and he attacked the double team tonight.

Coach A needs to learn how to call his TO's and get his players some rest. They were clearly tired late in the 4th....

    GREAT WIN!!!!

I disagree. Tmac did miss some jumpers, but his realized that he was off and started passing well. If he isn't scoring, he will always be passing. He also made some clutch rebounds late in the 4th

Great win, and let's keep rolling. Also don't forget this is Suns' second of back-2-back game (i.e. exhausted).

Dont want to put myself on the should but this is what I posted in antoher thread:

Its not about Steve, its about what is the best for the team. Head is done in this offense. He was a post child of JVG's insider-out (the kickout part of it) offense. But not is this one. The first 10 games show that he is now useless.

My theory of why coach A did not like Steve is that during Steve's hay-days with Rockets, coach A saw too much of his useless dribbling from the other side of the court. But Steve has changed. Some people grow up and Steve is one of them.

    Keep it up Steve!

Awful calls tonight. We really did come out with a win after playing 5 on 8 the whole time.

    Oh yeah...

Credit to coach A for not playing francis when he came into the season out of shape. The decision has made his more passionate and careful on the floor ( not dribbling out the shot clock or turning over the ball), a bid to get more playing time.

Credit to francis as well for have a great attitude during those games when he warmed the bench. He still seemed winded a bit, but 'ITS TIME' for the franchise.

Great team effort and coach strategy tonight.
